I usually get a cold bottle of water if I am extraordinarly thirsty. Nothing beats the taste of water when thirsty. But if I am in a drinking mood, I usually have a bottle of cheap vodka, with a chaser sitting next to me.

Last night it was fish cakes and wild/white rice. As with most the sensible posters, a glass of water plus some of these;
* Tea (milk, two sugars)
* Mini-magnums (caramel)
* Apple pie + whipped cream
* Maltesers (big bag)
Just in case you wondered why I am sometimes unresponsive
