'nuff said.
I'm really looking forward to it. It should be epic! Part of the idea of the IWS was to show what is possible with good teamwork and tactics. I think both teams showed that and we can be proud!

Not to be an ass, but I don't think reservers were allowed to squad lead, be chooper pilots/gunners, APC drivers/gunners.

Re: IWS: Team B vs Team C - May 31

Yeah like paranoid said this rule was suggested during the first round. I am not sure if it was team B or team C that suggested it but it wouldn't make sence that we put such a limitation on ourselves. It was never an official rule but I was pretty sure that you suggested it and therefore would have kept to it. But it doesn't matter that much I don't think that disco won the round for them (and even if he did I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of letting him know).

Now the round was a good one, I dont care that we lost we had some bad luck with 3 caches (2 at docks and the one that was visible on the loadingscreen). We only got one deep in the city which I think did the difference. When you played team D you had to go into the city a lot of times and place your armour in bad positions to be able to support the infantry. This might have done you in but it doesn't matter we are still going to win and when we do I am going to send Zedic to visit disco with some vaseline for the burn

This was how I would have liked all the rounds of the IWS to have been but this is the first one that really seemed like both teams were even and very well organised and it gave us a good scrim where there really wasn't anything to complain about well played to all involved nice to see you there. Was nice to have a round that was played at scrim level instead of something that just seemed like a public game with a commander.

The hardest fought round of Ramiel I ever played. As a medic (Blufor, Wickenz - awesome SL & terrifying shooting as every time dude)
for the first time I stoped keeping track of my revives. Utterly impossible to count.
Great game! This is the reason why I'm here at TG.

Discojedi: "On a personal note: I think I speak for all of Team D when I say, we hope those on Team C enjoyed the taste of defeat today, because we'll be serving it up hot and fresh for you again next week. ARRR!"

do you have any idea how hard it was for me being on team C when im a reserve in team D knowing if they lost Team D would have a chance, never the less out of patriotism for my friends in the E1st and 31st i played to the best of my ability

I guess I am the only one who thought of taking a screenshot of the first cache.

Well played, good win!
I think you insurgents put up an amazing fight inside the city, it was nearly impossible to penetrate through the defense. I also think both teams made very good use of the mortars, I myself succeeded in getting two caches by using them. The strike you dropped on our airfield near the end of the round cost us a lot of tickets and was very demoralizing. Fortunately, we managed to get another cache by retreating from the death zone near your main which might have boost our moral again. If that last mortar strike hadn't gotten the cache, it would 've been an extremely close round.

Many thanks to my squad for the good fight they put up and of course to the other squads for providing excellent cover. Not to forget Charity Case who managed to keep the team together for +3 hours.

Great round.

Great game guys, I had to leave after the 2 and a bit hour mark but from what I heard it was a close ending.

As soon as the cache was spotted on the loading screen I felt we might be able to pull it off.

It was certainly a great match on which to end team B's campaign.

I can't wait for next weeks match. It's gunna be close!

This worked. We put some resources over there to recon it out. My motorized inf squad was sent in to have a close look. While snooping about (and being shot by you) the 3rd cache became revealed and so we bugged out. I didn't bother with any fighting withdrawal stuff...just "get the hell out of dodge" style of exit. I'd already lost a few tickets to you there, didn't want to lose anymore.

Nicely played.

Cheers,

EDIT: assuming you are talking about the seaside village area, towards the end of the game.
