Introduce Yourself - Page 22

Hi all,
Well its a long story...I'm not much of a shooter player, in fact I have only played one other (Call of Duty) I picked up BF2 about a year back and played it on the public servers for about a week or two. All the kids jumping around, crashing vehicles into things, strapping explosives to vehicles and such just made me turn it off. I'm ex-military and I wasn't able to get into that playstyle.
I happened on a link the other day while looking at another forum that took me to the PR site. Since I had the game and didn't feel like I really got my moneys worth, I loaded it up and jumped on a server which happened to be the Tactical server, I joined a squad and just followed them....lol So that's how I ran into you guys.

I am psyched about this mod. It is everything I wanted BF2 to be on the public servers a year ago. (Sorry I wasn't in Team speak, but I didn't get to sign up until after I followed the link once I was done playing)

My main issue....I'm not very good at shooters...yet.
So if you run into me take pity on me and give me a few helpful pointers. I'm still looking to find my "niche in BF2 right now, the "kits" in PR are very different from the standard game. Any advice would be welcome. I'm an older guy with a family/kids and not a whole bunch of spare time so bare with me if I don't play 12 hours a day and am not uber within the week.

Howdy. Im Wookish, love PR and really enjoy TacticalGamer server. Ive played battlefield for a while, and habitually go agro-rambo style, but i cant help it sometimes. For the most part, and when applicable, I like crisp infantry squads who get tasks done. In your PR servers I have found this more often than in any other server. Right on.

hey!, glad to be here, i started playing project reality a week ago and its been a blast and the tactical gamer server has by far been the best to play in!!!

Hi all, My name is Fred. I love this realism mod. I do way better with this mod over regular BF2.. I probably wont ever go back to BF2.

What's up all!

This game rock's! For the realism of a real battle field... I think this mod win very easily! The SQUAD teamplay is just A.W.E.S.O.M.E. ! I'm sad that I don't speak english well to have the teamplay at the maximum! (for voice communication).

Anyway! I'll have the same nick on Tactical Gamer!

Hello all, I don't like writing intro stuff so I'll cut out the BS for you. You guys have a real nice server for BF2 :PR and I enjoy playing on your server often. I am also interested in joining an active clan so I'll look around in here for some info on that, unless this is just a community page which would be awsome because i don't see many good community pages. Hello to everyone at TG. I'm d1sp0sabl3H3r0, and I'm a newbie at PR and on your server. Several of my fellow admins on our vanilla bf2 server recommended the mod and your server, and we're starting to play here quite a bit. The PR mod is everything I'm looking for in a FPS/Tactical game - it's just absolutely THE BEST, and your server has some excellent teamwork on it, which we all love.

Anyway, hope to see everyone in game. We usually run in the DeadMeat squad if there are enough of us here.

If anyone stills plays vanilla (and why would you, I know, I know), stop on by DeadMeat to say "hi".
