Hi all, just installed and played this mod last night and really regret not to have done this before! o yeah - nice people on TG server with a know-how to speak to new players willing to learn and enjoy this unik way of tactical playing, don't know if i'll play the Klassic BF again!

Hello,

I'm Cochonez.

Today I was playing PR and met [TG 6th]Dirtboy, he told me about this site. He also told me you all play as a team in a sqad and have much fun even when you loose.
Thats also my motto, Play with teamwork and play with fun, cous that's what it's all about.

Ok let me introduce myself, I'm 21 years old, and live in the Netherlands,(Holland) I'm working as a intercedent, it means: If somone needs a job, he comes to me and I'm looking for a job for him, but it also means I have to care for that person, I have to go to the company he works, and check if everything is allrigt, BLA, BLA, BLA. Thats what i'm doing for the living.

My hobbys are: Paintball, Gaming and Music.

I hope it's enough about me.

So i hope this is the team with the teamwork and the fun I'm looking for.

I also have a question, who can tell me why there is a such a lag every time i join some big levels. And can i do something about it?
And also when i'm in a server and the game is over, and anotherone is loading PR just quit's to the desktop. And it can't be my PC becouse I bought thisone specially for BF2 with the requiermants for Direct-x 10...

Cochonez,i had the same problem.I checked all the stuff i had downloaded and saw i was missing a patch,maybe u should try looking for a patch that you dont have?See you later..

Hi All,

Diligent_BF2 here - long-time lurker, first-time poster. Glad to see such a community as TG exists, also to see such a realistic mod being developed under the arguably tough constraints of the BF2 engine (Kudos PR team!).

Started playing PR a few months ago. Got a mic very soon after that and it's completely changed my experience. I definitely recommend a mic!

Although I only play sporadically (the odd weekend here and there, even fewer weeknights), I appreciate being able to count on the TG server for some good play.

I love the teamwork aspect, but still have a few things to learn about PR or TG themselves (e.g. gameplay), and specific map stuff for some maps (e.g. chokepoints, ways through/around, etc.). That said, I have played other tac FPSs, and have read (most of) the manual and some of the TG stuff, so if you see me on, know that I will turn a wrench or pull out the shovel if you need it, sit in defense for however long it takes, and will definitely take medic if you need one (the world needs more medics). (And playing mostly medic has already improved my accuracy).

About me:
Likes: teamwork, spelling and grammar online, and long walks on most maps.
Fave kits for now: Medic and Engineer.
Fave maps: OGT, Mestia, and ?

P.S. my unsolicited two cents:

1. Engineers don't have to stand still while repairing stuff - move around while facing and wrenching; Neither do medics (though this tends to confuse injured squaddies more than it does injured APCs). Also, as a medic, you can "top off" an injured squaddy sometimes even though they don't show any loss of health.

2. Sometimes you don't want to use the Q spotting: e.g. when sneaking up on enemy and you need to be quiet - they can hear you say "Sniper" or whatever.

Another FNG here. BRAND NEW to the PR mod (0 hours), relatively new to BF2 as well (less than 30 hours, just made E-5). Have a question regarding the PR install, I have no maps available in SP, nor is there any character/weapon images displayed in BFHQ. I have BF2/SF/patch 1.41 and the latest PR mod (bittorrent). I'd bet I did something wrong, but have no clue as to what. Thanks!

Welcome to TG Creeper

There is no SP mode for PR...that is why there are no SP maps. Also, there are no "unlocks" for it since its a mod. If you can connect to any PR server, then you installed it correctly.

I believe I'm sorted, was able to connect to MP server a few minutes ago. Next question is: what's the best way to learn this mod? I'm still a newcomer to BF2 (vanilla), so probably best to dive right in to PR before the "basic" install corrupts me.

Start with reading the guide, no point joining the TG server if you aren't familiar with the basics of PR

. This mod is anything but a run and gun game so some basic knowledge is required before heading into the battle.

Once you know how everything works, take a look at this sticky and you will be all set to play on TG.

Well, I'm fairly new to PR (a month). I've only played it on the TG server though. I love the squad based teamwork of the mod. That's about it.

Yoyo, im a oldschool BF 2 player that joined the forum today cuz i have started to play more and more Reality mod, so i thought it could be good to join TG forum cuz thier Reality mod server pwns!

well anyway, i nick Fp$_D0ug ingame, some of you maybe have seen me sneeking around with the sniper or noobing around in a npc hehe. I hope i will see alot of you guys in-game and hopefully we can squad up and pwn some.

and ye... Some say i sound like Arnold (terminator) in the BF2 Mic.... I dont know if its true but i hope not.
