Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi guys
Well, although I have introduced myself before, I thought this is a good place to say that after a while being away in another country, I have returned.
This is my first time back in almost a year.
There's been a few updates since I left and it all seems like new.
So I would like to thank those guys from TG and others that made today very enjoyable - especially the crew that found I had to be squad leader, once a few people dropped out and I ended up in the position yet again (I was rather thinking to just stay a squad member for obvious reasons).
So squad 3 of that huge map with the bunkers: Thanks for your patience, good humour, vigour and faith to follow me till the end of that almighty (and.. not so brill) map. We had a good showdown with the enemy.
As for the rest, well I only mention them because it was a difficult map to start with. But you were all great today and I am glad being back in TG.
Yet again, I look forward to fighting alongside you all, and one day, most likely, holding the TG tag, if I should prove myself worthy. I hope one day I would be recognised by those who perhaps thought me worthy before.

Ahhh, what a shame. I have to remain the only New Zealander around here for the time being.
Anyway, welcome PsychoSquirrel_notfromNewZealand and to you others new to the TG forums mikaelw, fatbox187, rickrock and Taip3n!
Browse through and have a read of the following links as they're very helpful and are required reading:
1. Official Rules

If you have any specific questions about PR, have a look in the PR Wiki, use the search function or ask here on the forums.
Once you've mastered the basics (or if you already have) of PR, you may find the following thread useful to find some extra PR tips and 'secrets' (Needs a bit of updating with the recently release patch).

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello, my name is Joe, QCRulzz... From Québec city, I do know i have an accent, forgive me ;p. I am a very experienced pilot (BFV, BF2, BF2142), over 500 hours in the air, and now, I am playing PR. New flying style, forgive me if I ''crash''. I know I am young, but I believe I am mature enought to play with you guys.
See you on the battlefield!

Re: Introduce Yourself
Welcome to TG QC! We have a lot of canadian guys here and a bunch from europe too, so we're used to the whole "gee, this guy sounds funny" thing. As far as flying, if you want a good way to shape yourself up, follow this link and install the Training Mode. Start yourself up a local server and get to flying! You can crash all day there and never kill anyone but yourself and you never run out of planes (they have a 10 second respawn time)!

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hey fellas. My name is Humvee, pretty avid gamer. Love FPS's and MMO's and a RTS here and there. Im 18, going to school part time and working part time, what time i have left i use for gaming. Right now im hooked on PR. Lovin every bit of it. I enjoy working together as a team and my stance in a team is usually medic or some other support class. Im more of a follower than a leader.
I live in STL. Centralized . I grab the good pings My real name is Jarred, call me whatever. Ill respond to anything, but i've been going under the name Humvee since i started gaming online 6-8 yrs ago. When i play MMO's i go under Eevmuh.
Come May ill be playing Conan 24/7 and i see you guys already have a section made for that so ill be seeing alot more of you guys in future days. Hopefully.
Cya in the battlefield,
Humvee

Re: Introduce Yourself
Absolutely QC, but you have to set up your TS account first. At the top of the forums (not top of the page) you'll see a dropdown that says Quick Links. Click it and then click teamspeak and it explains how to set up your account.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hey guys, I tried out PR almost a year ago but hated it and I just re-downloaded it about 6 weeks ago. I love it now and play on TG server almost exclusively. I wont even open up PR unless I see that there are spots open on the server via xfire. I love the server because most other servers have few people using voip and teamwork.
add me on xfire (kevlarorc) if you are ever looking for some grunt to boss around on the battlefield! XD (although im damn good at maneuvering the blackhawks)

Re: Introduce Yourself
New to the site not the server or mod. Been playing on PR since it was just a weapons mod. I bought BF2 thinking FH2 would come out sooner and found PR to be it's replacement. To my amazement they surpassed the FH2 mod and find new and innovative ways to make the game more enjoyable. I'm a 24 year old AET for the USCG and have been on active duty for a year now. The platform I repair and rescue those in need is on the best chopper in the world, the HH-65c Dolphin. I plan on going to flight school within the next year or so once all my paperwork goes through. The TG community is one I enjoy playing with but can't stand all the rules placed on a battlefield, to me that's just an oxymoron.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello and welcome, Spanish.
I saw you on the server yesterday, and I find it great that you came here. I hope that being here will help to further enhance your gaming experience at Tactical Gamer, and also provide some clarification concerning some of the in's and out's. And I mean that in a positive way.
Looking forward to see you command a Cobra or BH-squad!

Re: Introduce Yourself
I dont belive I've written on this page yet even Im rather familiar face in TG PR server.
I found out PR through Finnish battlefield scene www.battle.fi and it's weekly mod news. Decided to try it out. However this early build (must've been something like 0.2) didnt have many servers to play on and the test ended there for me. However I liked the idea it had.
Later I gave it another go about an year ago (by that time I was already actively playing on TG BF2142 server.) and saw TG's server on top. Never looked back.
