Re: Kicked / banned from the TG Project Reality Server? READ THIS!

hello, it appears that have been banned/kicked from the tactical gamer project reality server, i used to join and play just fine, never broken any rules or anything of the nature, then once i started to get the " you have been kicked by a successful vote or an admin for excessive team killing" every time i tried to join the server, then i re tried and joined just fine. the it started to happen more and more until now that i cant join anymore at all and its a shame because its the best server i know when it comes to ping, admins, players etc. if someone could help me would greatly appreciate it. thanks

Welcome to TG, Zyklon.

As mentioned in the original post, if you try to join the server with 62 players or more, you will be kicked immediately, as the server is considered full at that number.

Needless to say, I cancelled Netflix, joined TG and saved $11 a month.
I must be teh duh. I'm paying both and haven't returned the movies in 8 months...

And to anyone that is on the fence, just join a random server when you're tired of being kicked. That's what I did and before long I realized TG is the only place to play!

Re: Kicked / banned from the TG Project Reality Server? READ THIS!

I've received the "You have been kicked from the server by an admin for excessive teamkilling or as the result of a successful kick vote" message when trying to join the server (i.e. before you even get to the map screen) when the server is showing 62/64.

Not a gripe, but I had read the FAQs before trying to join the TG PRM server and my experience did not match the behaviour described at the top of this thread.

I can see I'm going to need to get my Limey behind into one of your password evenings to see if I can cut the mustard as a TG SM before becoming a Supporting member.

Terminal if you read Tempus's post i think 2 above yours it explains why...

the server is considered full at 62 of 64 it leaves 2 spots open so that sm's have room to join hope that explains it

So clearly that even one as slow on the uptake as myself could get the idea.

Thanks!

I would like to propose a change to the system of kicking people for members. First off, would it possible NOT to kick squad leaders, and second can you pick people to kcik with lower scores. pleaseeeeeeeeeee

Re: Kicked / banned from the TG Project Reality Server? READ THIS!

People with lower scores are going to be the ones who have been on the server the shortest. Our goal is to allow as many people as possible to experience a good amount of time on the server, so I can't forsee lowest score going becoming the preferred method. The Squad Leader position can not be a shield to hide from the Supporting Member kick or we will have 9 squads every time. Fewer squads with more people are a lot more effective than 9 squads of 1 or 2. If you agree that TG is the place to play (I thought it was when I started) then give up a pizza a month ($8), or know that you will be removed for supporting members and enjoy the time you do get in the server.

I thought Icky said it best:

I guess that makes Apophis the bartender...

This would also encourage more ppl to become SLs just to avoid being kicked, not because they want to be an SL. Secondly, I'd like to think that personal score is not a very material goal for team oriented play, it should be about the team winning, not a bunch of hotshots trying to rack a high score. Thirdly, I find that when I am transporting troops, a vital role in many cases, my score is very low and not a reflection of bad play or performance.

Re: Kicked / banned from the TG Project Reality Server? READ THIS!

I managed to get outright banned for "Teamkilling", even though I only had one team kill the whole game. Unfortunatly, regardless of server population, I can't get back in! This is likely the best server out there for PR and would like to know how I can redeem Guardian_Rifleman, which is my account.

I assure you I'm not an immature jerk of a player.

Read the first post in this thread to find out the proper action you should take.

Re: Kicked / banned from the TG Project Reality Server? READ THIS!

The answer isn't there. I said REGARDLESS of server population (could be 2/64 for all this matters) I still cannot get in. Unless you're privy to banning random players to get them to subscribe, the first post, which I read before posting, does not help me.
