Re: Taking a few maps out of the cycle.

Yeah, I think Maxx hit the real problems on the head there. The problem isn't so much the map as it is coordinating your team and keeping good communications open. I'm really hoping in a future release of PRM that insurgents get CO's for the sake of coordinating and communication.

HAH! I hate that gun!!. It feels like a very inaccurate pea-shooter to me. Like I need to hit enemies 4-5 times to kill them instead of just 2-3, provided it decided to shoot straight instead of a random direction. The bonus of that problem is it forced me to use the AK-47 (which I like) with the grenade launcher. Now I'm getting a lot better at longer-ranged grenade lobbing. Which is something I normally wouldn't have bothered using but have found it pretty enjoyable.

Excellent post.

Serious soul searching? Man, these guys are playing for keeps. A lot of these new recruits are seeing winning first and promoting fun gameplay second.

@Hills of Ham. Clearly The PLA has all the advantges. The only thing GB has to punch a hole through the (mid 20th Century map set-up) is the arty.
I would like to think that GB would have fire-base several Klicks away designated for this RECKLESS siege and away from the enemies precence.

My first time playing GB on this map in .5, I went CO after no one else did. Knew I would be more of an assest anywhere else. Hell, I even went Rifleman and supported the snipers.

We had a couple of good squads get the south enemy flag white, and stop bleed. For some reason the enemy would not get the flag back up.

For a good while the battle was a stalemate. We were slowing catching up on tickets.

Then our arty got knocked down by enemy arty.
And Oh man we were so close to taking out two full squads on that strike, but it disappeared.

Know the PLA had

1. The high ground

2. Temporary arty supremecy

3. Even number of players as we did. ( suicidial to assault such positions)

I tried to get on teampeak and get the PLA to stop targeting our arty, but no go. I get someone who sees it as "realistic" to take down the arty.

Well, I was pissed off about that, so any rational thought went away. I apologies for not conducting myself well to all those on teampeak.

Twice when I have played maps that I believe are infective with Downs Syndrome something bad has happesn.

I'll not play this map as well as M. City. So much potintial... but TARFU.

Greasy Mullet definitely needs to go. Not only is it memory intensive, but far too much armor and base raping. Not to mention visually uninteresting.
