"Can I wear the |TG| tags?
The short answer is yes.

Tactical Gamer is an open community of mature gamers. We're not a clan that requires you to go through a process to join and then be eligible to wear our tags. We would like any player who agrees to and abides by our rules to feel welcomed to our family. If that is the case, then by all means, wear the |TG| tags.

However wearing the |TG| tags does not come without some responsibility.

When you put on those |TG| tags you are now representing Tactical Gamer. Players on Tactical Gamer servers will look to |TG| tag wearing players for leadership and guidance. They will watch how you play and follow your lead.

Many players who wear the |TG| tags also frequenty other externally run servers. When wearing |TG| tags on those servers you are expected to abide, not only by that particular server rules, you are also expected to abide by the Tactical Gamer code of conduct. You still represent Tactical Gamer. Some games will allow you add tags at will and/or create multiple accounts. If you do not plan to abide by the Tactical Gamer code of conduct, please remove the |TG| tags when playing on other servers.

What the tags DO NOT signify?

1) That you are a skilled player.
2) That you receive additional benefits."

... I guess that's why I changed my BF2 user ID

BTW,

I played for the first time with this new ID on last Sunday's PW game. Are the rules the same then other nigths? Because I got kicked for saying "F*** sry for the TK ..." I can't even join now is that normal?

Cheers,
Nix

Hey Nixon,

Wearing the TG tags means that you understand and agree to abide by our rules. Because of that, you can be treated harsher then someone without the tags as the TG tags represent that you will play by our standards. Take some time to re-read through our rules and sop's so that you are familiar with our rules.

Re: Are you a regular?

Awesome, thanks for that! Make sure you check out the other forums, particularly these.

Though to stay on-topic, this isn't a beat the drum for Supporting Members thread The point is that you don't have to be a SM to wear the tag - all it takes is knowledge of, and dedication to the rules and SOPs.

Re: Are you a regular?

Well that explains why other random |TG| taggers where kicked to make room. I love the places where ALL of the people who earned something, got it. 8.95 to play 24/7 Tactical Gamer, not bad at all :P

Re: Are you a regular?

I can't wait to get my year membership...I just have a couple credit cards to pay off first. Will take about 2 months...then I am in for sure! I love this mod and can't even stand vanilla bf for anything other than Single Player to practice. Would be fun to go play some other mods with fellow TGers. See how we do in Desert Conflict, for instance.

Yeah, I won't wear the tags myself until I am paying...that is what feels right for me...not that anyone who doesn't pay and still wears the tags should feel bad...that's just my personal thing.

I definitely want a reserved spot. I understand being kicked and never get mad when it happens...but it still sucks.

Re: Are you a regular?

For me, and it didn't happen that long, it always seemed to be in the middle of a melay and ZAPPO.
