Infantary with laser targetting are involved with bomb guidance launched by heli and planes I think, that'd be extreme if we got that. On al basrah Ive seen it agreed that all boat targets would be shortly after be attacked by the A10. That worked quite well. Having airsupport in a squad and being called in to clear an area or flag can work really well. Having them locked away in a seperate squad means they wont ever hear the screams of the person they just tk'd! No commander means seperate squads for air are especially useless imo USA actually won al basra yesterday, as well as excellent ground squads I think it was due to air support covering flags that were otherwise apparently empty and also taking out bridges with tv missiles as per commander orders. Infantary who like air support should take out AA if they can too ![]() |

Hmmm, that never occurred to me. That could be very interesting. I don't know if that could be done but it might be worth trying. You would still need some live scoring at least as far as team kills go so abusers could be identified and kicked.

^^ That'd change the game for sure. I'd like to see the person who capped the most flags be at the top of the score board rather then the person who killed the most.
Changing that will stop encouragement to people who camp UCB and spawn kill which is totally skillless. On Phoenix we had a usa squad manning the mounted MG guns at our MEC main base for 20 minutes mowing down people down easily and they won for it |

oooooooo - that could get ugly Nix. At least during daylight hours when 6 out of 8 squads are playing pickup stix at the wrong bases. I think it would be best for the commander to filter the content to the other players. It could become a verbal pissing match.

The tools are already present and in-game for infantry to "paint" targets for air, whether or not they do it, and whether or not the air can take the target out are the only real variables.

Just before I forget,
the support gun should have more recoil when standing, its overpowered co can kick sl from their positions - 'if you cant do the job I'll find someone who can' Of course the co might be a muppet but its easier to deal with 1 bad player then 6 bad sl BUG Artillery reports as being down even when its actually AA, even when its the enemy AA you just destroyed yourself |

if you put a Bradley in .6, you can marry my sister.
I sure loved the weapon modifications of Americas Army. An M-4 with a silencer just looked and sounded so sweet, I would often just sit at the main and fire at rocks admiring it. Choosing between the Acog, 4x, laser, etc was pretty cool too. Adjusting player run speed depending on the amount of gear they are carrying? Would be cool to select how many grenades/smoke/ammo I have in my pack. Some maps you just want to pack light and run fast, other times slow and heavy might be the way to go. I'd like to see a city map with perhaps a used-car lot that has 50 destructible cars in it (for sale, of course). Or maybe a weapon shop that could be looted. Maybe a cemetery or warehouse for a cqb theme. Tanks that can run over/through crushed vehicles/trees/buildings sounds cool. Anyone discussed monitoring stats on the TG server before? I'm sure there are good cases for and against the idea... |

I'm against stats.
I played AA. Got addicted to stat padding. Became CAL-worthy in DoD...for stats. Stats in PR would only bring back my stat whoring from BF2. :-/

I'd like to see kit requests requiring approval from a commander. That's a far cry from possible with the provided SDK, though, I'm told.

Isnt the APC/AA on steel thunder and greasymullet a bradley relation?
Another small bug is you have to enter, leave and reenter a heli in order to hear it rearming or repairing |
