Re: general things to know
that's probably true. i know h-at can be req'd from an apc, but i can't recall getting aa off one. i just remember reading a patch note saying that h-at and aa can no longer be requested from rally points, but are still available at apc's, home bases and supply boxes or something similar.
for the 7 slams addition, did you place those on weaker areas? and just for fun, can anyone tell me why it often takes two knife hits to a torso to kill a guy. the first hit often smokes, like i hit armor, and the second kills. but i kinifed a few guys getting ressed the other day and they took one hit, making me think the first hit on full hp is sometimes negated, but any less and it's a one shot. this also applies to bursting a guy in the front torso. 3 bullets may land but the shots seem ineffective a lot if i catch a head shot, like there's a split second where his shot kills me but by burst finishes doing nothing. otherwise, bursting center mass is a one shot if they land. the guy takes 3 rounds to his chest and runs away not even bandaging. ok going on vacation see you all in a few weeks

Re: general things to know
Yea, i have noticed, for example, i found a enemy RP, fire with At at it just as im hit, but i did gt my shot of on target, but it seems like as soon as im was hit, my shot no longer existed, and the RP stayed up?
anyone else get that?

Re: general things to know
I've seen exactly that with a L-AT shot on a stationary APC. Got nailed by enemy infantry just after I fired and expected to hear the clang-bang of the rocket hitting the APC via Death Cam TV and nothing happened despite it being a short range shot and the sights were spot on at the instant of firing.

Re: general things to know
You are both across the pond from Sweet Virginia
Your ping was most likely higher then the person who shot you. Your shot was disregarded by the server as it happened after you were shot despite your own perception of events. Yes Ive had similar happen but if its close you know its because of ping really and it happens in lots of other games. PR is rare in that it does allow people to both kill each other which is how it should be rather then totally wiping the dead persons shots out as if they were instantly vapourised |
