Azureus is to complicated for the average user to use, Utorrent in my opinion is better. Azureus requires more in depth setup than Utorrent, but both require an open port to leech/seed good. Not with mine it wasn't, I HAD to open a port. It downloaded so slow and now the speed increased dramatically. Most torrent apps ports are automatically blocked from most ISP's, the reason for opening a port and Utorrent also allows for enabling encryption for ISP's to have a harder time recognizing what you are downloading. Maybe it is JUST my ISP?!?! lol

OH, another thing that CAN be done instead of opening a port, turn on DMZ. In simple language, it makes all ports accessable but a lot of people don't do this unless they have a good software firewall to keep intruders out.

DMZ is not a great idea for any length of time especially not running windows.
