This is just a vid you might be interested in. Its maybe the engine that the next bf game will be based on for pc, its going to console first though
Realtime terrain deformation and HDR audio sounds interesting

Crysis was never that hyped to me because in the previews it was always about the graphics and so what basically. Graphics will improve that is a given but gameplay might not but anyway crysis is ok by me as an engine.
I'm waiting for the mods if any to prove their case
