And halo 3 is out

I can confirm the sneaky tank thing works, someone pulled that on me last night and I had not a clue I was flanked until after the slams went off.

Of course slams didnt finish me off but they were well away and I didnt ever catch them. I think I did hear the slams go off but you wont hear tank shells hit you afaik and in an APC you are seriously vunerable because you cant hear anything hitting you till the sirens go off

Anyone encountered any problems with Punkbuster along with the new patch? Joined the sever today, got killed and kicked by Punkbuster for having a negative score and was forbidden to rejoin the server for a minute. Nice...

I got that last night or the night before at one point so I found something to do for a minute.

Of course I did not have a negative score when it kicked me, but that was the reason given. All I had done before that was score 4 kills, then get out of a tank and start repairing, never got a tk.

Just downloaded from filefront at 450Kbs, now no more CTD.

Would have been nice to know last night that the server was updated.

I think it 's great they reduced the engine sounds cause it was pretty annoying hardly being able to use VOIP in a vehicle. If they overdone it, it 's gonna be a problem though. Nothing worse than having no idea you 're under attack... we need a mouse with rumble now

I won't be able to check the patch till monday but I 'm looking forward to it, has it been confirmed to be more stable yet? or still too early?

Hope we can play Basrah insurgency again, really missed that map.

I wiped my computer, rebooted, re-installed BF2, Put Patch for that, Put the 1.8G full install for Pro Reality and no workie.

You applied the 1.41 BF2 patch then..

Whats the errors and symtoms.

.613 is the latest version and it should be in the server title, old servers wont show up in red

I never do patches. They never work for me. Clean install of PR works best.

So, it has been a while since I played PR. With the new patch release I am downloading the full client as I am typing this. I hope it addressed a lot of the issues I had in .6 with performance. With what I had read it appears it is supposed to. Hope so cause I am needing to get back on and play PR, I am just hoping I can with this old 'puter. Should be about 35 minutes to download the full client(downloading at about 750Kb/s but won't be able to install BF2 and PR till later tonight.
Can't wait to try to get back in and start kicking butt again or getting mine kicked, lol.
