I still see a white background...
Mine has a weird glow too which I haven't been able to resolve, especially at the edges of my renders. Good thing is that it 's hard to see on this forum 's background but on other forums it looks really bad ( http://www.modtheater.com/forum/show...79&postcount=3).
It 's not a big deal as most people run IE7 or Firefox, but I just thought I 'd share it with y 'all.

If I 'd have to judge his sig, I would say change the font and soften the colors... they 're too fluorescent and the font looks kinda cheap.
I have to admit your new ones look way better than his .
