Personally it makes the font look a bit distorted and blurry.
Its a look you may like but imo it looks a bit funny.
Another Alba one. With a Fan4 theme.

I've been doing sigs like Mr Fighter's. Making cool vehicles like his Monster Truck huey which took a few hours.
I'm having fun with phtoshop now. Making pics like this. I'm hoping to get good at photoshop editing.

all you're doing is putting the render in with the background, i dunno how you're blending it. What i do is give the render several layers and smudge them, except for the render on top.
