When it comes time to pick people up it can be difficult to get rid of them :/

I forget where I read it but the ucb rule does not apply to helis that fight and one retreats to its main base, last flag, etc - The heli fight can continue above a ucb even

Thats fair enough where the two helis are equal as they are on most maps but does it apply to sunset city where one heli has guns and the other is basically a sitting (though much more maneuverable) duck.

British transport helicopter question: I rode in the one British transport that has small side doors where most of the squad being transported is seated inside and when I went to jump out I started taking damage inside of the helicopter. Do you have to switch to a door seat before exiting? I can see this making sense but taking damage for standing inside didn't make sense to me.

If the heli is moving and you are inside then your'll take damage just like you would sitting on top.

The rear seats exit inside the heli so you need the rear tail down to walk out that way. Front first seats exit like a normal heli.

On the merlin, F2 or copilot controls the rear tail. Forward/W is tail up & backwards/S is tail down

I get stuck in the exploding merlin all the damn time. No one ever lowers the rear door before landing. Pisses me off to no avail.

I usually lower the tailgate otherwise press f2-f4 before exiting.

The other day Emdek insisted he had snuck onto the merlin when I was on the ground and killed me point blank while I was flying, like something off aliens

I wouldn't admit to that since unless he had a pilot's kit that was a suicide tactic

I dont know if he survived or if he was joking even but I definetly got shot out of the heli. The heli itself fell from about 50 feet into trees and survived just fine
