-I don't agree that the SA7 would be ineffective against either planes or choppers. You can hurt an A10's effectiveness a LOT if you just hit it once. The lock will also do a lot of good. I kill more A10's then choppers with the GRAIL.
-Choppers cannot fly high to overlook the battlefield if you lock on them. They have to totally change strategy, flying low and risking RPG fire. Locking on a chopper is always good. -Switch weapons and back after every shot. This to avoid known bugs where you keep a lock on the previous target and your missiles just fly straight,lock or or not. I switch after every lock tone.

Always try and keep track of your kills...... though you may not see it go down you may just get a boost on the kills when the thing is trying to limp home and blows to bits with a few meat sacs inside.
