    12-12 Department Store Battles @ 8pm

    Midweek Modness returns this week with the Stunt Mod called Department Store Battles. Fight for either Kmart or Walmart in the most off the wall mod out there for BF2. This includes jets with tanks on the wings, helicopters with afterburners as well as all sorts of other craziness. This mod is silly enough to have been possibly created by 14 year olds which means that it may not be appropriate for those under 13. This event is open to all forum members and will kick off at 8pm eastern.

    Wow, nice way to get attention. Department store battles. Sounds, interesting as heck. To bad I might have my first 2V2 Chopper show down that evening.

    Just as a headsup, DSB is recommending that this mod is for 18 year old +. I do not recommend that you put your children on this mod. Save that for Pirates or Battleracer.

    Thought I would add some negative feedback for this mod. I hated it. It was borderline entertaining at first, but with the infinite range and lethality of practically all weapons I sucked at staying alive. The death noise also drove me nuts and prohibited me from hearing anything else at times. I think this mod could be made much better with two simple changes:

    - No more moaning death noises
    - Increased heath (when you can injure yourself just by jumping, that bites).

    Things I liked:

    - the 'owned' song
    - 5 seater jet and the rainbow chopper
