The weapons that have horrible cone of fire.
The abundance of cheaters and hackers of which we even had one in just the short period I played last night.
The total absence of teamwork and communication among the general BF2 populace.

Some of you commented on my 3 star general rank when I first loaded into the server, that's from years back when the game was new, I loved it and the whole stats concept. I administrated the [PTG] city maps only server which was ranked #1 on Game monitor for almost a year in 05/06 and gave pretty much every spare hour of my day to it.

Now though, I can't stand stats of any kind, it encourages people to pursue personal goals instead of helping the greater good of the team, it encourages people to whore assets and focus on getting to the top of the point board instead of helping their team win. Sure, if I go 100/5 I'll be happy, but I will be happier if I go 5/100 and my team wins because the enemy was focussing on me instead of my team mates who managed to cap that flag because I created a big enough of a distraction that they were able to accomplish their goals unmolested.

Feel free to + or - rep this post, but it's my view that 90% of the vanilla BF2 population are total vegetables and far better teamwork and gameplay can be found in modifications and speciality servers such as TG's POE2, so strong is that view that it's why I've been throwing money at a supporting membership here for more than half a year.
