Thanks to those guys on both sides, that made a return to BF2 today, for me, really fun.
A great laugh, high tempo fest. Which was, for me, BF2's attraction in the first place. The noob tubes, manic dashes and uberleet assaults or defences from overwhelming odds. Nothing quite like it.
Just don't forget, in an knife fight, or running from grenades, don't bunny hop ^^ Innately programmed knee-jerk reaction or not. For here is BF2 with a difference. Wierdly, it is all the fun - without the spamfest. And actually, the players are very, very, good.
Glory be to the Tacticalgamer vanilla server.
Nice to see players from other TG server games coming to one place. And that I have to say, is the greatest thing. Going old school and bringing the heart of TG into one place.
So thanks to those who thought it up and also set it up.

Great to see so many people out for a Saturday afternoon (at least in the local time zone). Lots of fun with more to have. It will take a community effort to politely explain server rules for new players, especially the bunnyhopping. I think most new people will appreciate the TG style when they see the level of competition we have here. It was a trip down memory lane today, no sauce, just plain vanilla. Thanks to big-eye101 et al for getting this going.

I so enjoyed playing BF2 again. I guess what made it so much more exciting is the fact of having people from 2142 and BF2 together playing on the same server. Who ever had this idea.....it was a very good one. Again, I had a blast. Thanks for making it so much fun.

Yeah it was great... and I FINALLY figured out how to loop the CHOPPER much WhiskeySix surprise as my gunner, yay for me!
Unfortunatelyl I logged in later that night and it was as quiet as a tomb
Same thing happened sunday night too.. where is everybody?

Excellent question! If you see someone on the server hop on and seed it ... or idle seed it! Invite friends over xFire or Steam! It takes 8 players to start a game. As soon as a game started more people will hop on.

How about making a "Game on" thread, stickie it so people can post there intent on playing it or just say that they are seeding?
