1.50 Help

Seeing as you guys probably know more than I do with the update stuff, I need some help.
Recently, I waited twelve hours to download the 1.50 update for BF2, and when I opened it up to install it, it told me I have a newer version installed already.

The funny thing is: I don't. I have 1.41 (I think that's the retail version) and I really, really, REALLY want to play PR, because it was so epic. Now at .87, I see it has a lot more stuff, and I want it. Can anyone help me with my problem?

I looked at a few different sources to answer your question and they said the same thing.

Looks like you need to install the full 1.41 before you install 1.5.
Double check your version to see if it is 1.4 instead of 1.41
Otherwise you may need to make a modification in the registry.

I had the same problem. I just had to reinstall 1.41. Then install 1.5.

That's kinda wierd, because now that I did that, I'm currently downloading 1.41... Apparently (cough) I had.. (bashful look) uhm... 1.1...
