What do you think should be improved for the final version?
We can have our own list here at TG... but if you want the BF2 folks to hear about it, then check out this thread.
If we get quite a few responses here... I may compile them and make one post over at the link listed above.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
1. I actually think the VoIP could be improved. The quality and volume are both well behind TS.
2. Squad leaders need to be able to be assigned.
3. I cannot see who is in the vehicle with me. This ability was available in DC, and it's absence is frustrating here.
4. Changing key assignments needs an overhaul.

FROM THE TACTICAL GAMER PRIMER.
3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
The grenade launchers reticule needs improvement, and all of the guns need SOME form of a tracer. Other wise, I dont know how much to compensate my nades.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
It would be nice if it supported two sound cards so that VOIP can be piped to separate speakers. It's one thing I like about using TS over in-game voice.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
This isn't minor, but I'd like squad commanders to be able to talk to each other via voicecomms.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
Perhaps players should have their job icon (medical cross, spec-ops knife, etc) to the left of the name above their head. It got frustrating trying to distinguish who was what in my squad last night without bringing up the squad screen.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
Do something to differentiate between friends and foes beyond friends having text above their heads, and make the differentiation appear farther away, so you dont rocket a friendly tank because the text was too small to see.
If a person is TKed and they dont vote, make it forgive by default.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
make the sniper rifles scopes have movement and the bullets should have a realestic range and not the laser beam that go on forever and and takes repeated shots to bring down.
there was a whole thread started by JBranger about the subject.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
I'd like to see Squad designations. If a squad has 2 anti tankers, a medic and 1 spec ops and an assault, they should be designated as anti armory squad. Or atleast have the squad leader be able to set certain designations.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
I think it should be like RTCW/Et where when you get killed you lay there and you can wait for a medic to review you or you could tap out and go to the spawn line. Considering how much they borrowed from RTCW i am surprised that they left that out.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
A small directional compass at the top center of the screen so you know which direction you're facing.
If the map needs to autobalance the teams, the commander and squad leaders should be immune to being teamswitched.
In addendum to that, the people who are teamswitched should come from the pool of people not in a squad.

Re: What do you think should be improved for the final version?
I'd like to be able to know the names of my commander and my squad leader either on-screen or at the touch of a button (with 32 people, the TAB screen wants to hide them all in dropdowns).

NS Game Officer. TF2 Admin. BF2 Admin / Scripter. PM with issues.
