Anyone with a forumplanet account? I can't bump, as I'm the last reply.

Re: (New) members who found us through forum posts

New member here...thanks to Twisted posting in the GameFaqs message boards. Thanks Twisted.

Chief and I work together with 2 other casual gamers (WarEagle32404 and another that hasn't gotten internet yet). We're loving the teamwork on the TG server. I just hope that you guys get the Ranking system worked out because I'd like to see how that works. I like the idea about rules for autoswitching.

I played a little last night. My favorite moment was being in a boat with 5 other guys and we weren't talking. Then someboday said "Anybody got a fishin' pole?". It was the best. I hope to see you guys tonight.

Bishop32404 out...

I was on your squad bishop, it was great squading up last night. And yeah, the fishing pole comment knocked me off my chair. I'm just glad we weren't in battle at that point... though we did get blown out of the water by a helo shortly after.

Heh, somebody in my squad last night used the same joke.

Of course nobody had a fishing pole but it would have been classic had someone tossed some C4 in the water and detonated.

Re: (New) members who found us through forum posts

I've only gotten through the first page of this thread but I just wanted to say that I too am new from the PBF forums. I got to play on your server this afternoon and I have to say it is perfect! 0 lag (for me), an admin at hand when you need him and best of all ACTUAL TEAMWORK!

Amazing, it really is. I hope to get into the server soon and play with you guys some more. I do believe I have found a home server for my all my gaming needs.

In game name is also Phelan_Ward

thats pronounced (Fay-Lon Ward), Wyzcrak

Maybe I'll get in sometime tonight.

I heard about the site at the Battlefront forums and hope to get a chance to play on the demo server tonight since they spoke highly of the experience. See you in battle I hope.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

I came over from QT3 as well. They're saying great things. This is the game that broke me into buying a new computer. I just got confirmation from newegg that it's arriving on Monday. See you all then!

Another QT3er here. I'm so glad that Rizzo/Guildboss posted about it over there, otherwise I might never have found this place!

It seems like a nice community and after a few nights of gameplay it's completely spoiled me for all the "normal" servers.

I wish the server weren't so full though... took me a good hour or two of trying to get in tonight!

Re: (New) members who found us through forum posts

Hi all

I've been searching for a server like this for ages. Having read through most of the forum it seems i'm in the right place.

My game should be arriving in the next few days but i'v been killing the demo over the last week with my bro and we both strive for good players who play the game as it should be played, So many servers are full of nimcompoops with no team work at all.

See you guys on the battlefield.

BTW my game name is the same as my user name on here lol.

Re: (New) members who found us through forum posts

Well hello guys!

I'm also new here. I played my first, but hopefully not last, game on the TG servere las night. My BF nick was nilsster. I must say it was a great experience, especially after the pandemonium of the ranked servers. The map I played was Zathar Wetlands and it was a pretty intense round. It was really nice to see everyone working as a team, as opposed to the norm, where there is maybe one good squad and a lot of solo artists.

I did lose my squad on a few occassions, when my orders changed and I found myself alone in the middle of an enemy assault force. But tried to stay with the group as good as I could.

The only problem I had was with lag and a high ping, something I assume is the result of playing from Sweden.

But all in all it was a great experience and I hope I'll get the chance to play on TG again.

Don't hesitate to hop on TeamSpeak and ask an admin to bump a public player for you! Supporting members always have room made for them.

We are working on other solutions for the problem though. Possibly a smaller (32 slot) private server or some such.

Xemu! Nice to see another fellow QT3'er. I've noticed more and more online the past couple of nights. Brings a tear to my eye seeing so much excellent teamwork!

As for the server being full, since you're a supporting member now, just hop on TG's TeamSpeak server and ask for a slot and you'll get it.
