Advanced Tactical Center for Battlefield 2 Releasing!
Tomorrow marks the initial release to the community of a tool built by Foolish Entertainment especially for Battlefield 2 - the Advanced Tactical Center for Battlefield 2. This easy to use tool allows your clan to communicate tactics easily and evolve them together in real time! There are also some new tools to the ATC like "zoom", "export tactic" and a "Custom Map Wizard" that builds upon the already large library of tools! Create and manage your squad before even joining a server with ATC. For more information on ATC, visit www.foolishentertainment.com
Possibly. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but keep in mind that the tool is not an in-game tool, so I'd guess that it would be more useful for clans to use before scrims or tourneys.

Exactly. It won't help us unless we want to plan a map strategy before joining a game.
Edit: Nevermind, didn't know it couldn't be used in game. Makes it kind of worthless for non clans I agree with.
I'm hoping for something like Empire Earth 2 has. Where you can draw lines on the map showing squads in this case where to go. The squads would be able to see the other squads plans too. Make it easy to see if the commander has made any misjudgements. Ex: Leaving your point to attack another base but no one coming over to defend it after you leave. Different color lines for different objectives maybe such as attack, defend. This is wishful thinking I guess.
I was playing with this recently. Has anyone used this to develop a strat?
Welcome to the rest of TG!

FROM THE TACTICAL GAMER PRIMER.
3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
