Battlefield 2 Patch for Supporting Members
All Battlefield 2 servers at Tactical Gamer have been upgraded to the latest patch level. Game clients must be updated to v1.01 in order to connect with our servers. Patch downloads for supporting and non-supporting members are listed below:

Cool.....I cannot load that patch though. I keep getting the error..."could not find original BF2 install folder/file??????"
How do i get around this???!
I have 2 hard drives...C and E.
My bf2 is loaded on the E-drive...HELP ME!!!!

That's odd. I have mine installed on my E drive and it updated no problem. You may have to uninstall and reinstall. For some reason your registry entries for the game are not properly pointing to the E drive. You never manually moved the files, did you?

my fellow tacticians, having the same patching problem, i have found teh sollution.
you have to reinstal BF2, but when he suggests the installfolder C:\program files\ea games\battlefield, and if you want to install it on another harddrive, you have to change it like this ( in this example using the D drive ) D:\ea games\battlefield.
through testing I have found that as long as you use ea games in the installfolderlocation, that the patch wont give a problem. this is also a sollution when " could not patch " is displayed
