TG clan password?
Clan Memberpassword
To join a clan you need to submit the clans memberpassword!
i am on http://bf2tracker.com and i am trying to enter Tactical Gamer as my clan and i just realised...i have no idea what the password is. If there is no problem with me joining the clan, would i be able to get the password off you's? If not thats not a problem at all. If you could just let me know, that would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Re: TG clan password?
Biggest pronlem is that TG is a gaming community NOT a clan.
I would suggest reading the SOPs and some of the other forums to get an idea of what TG is.

Re: TG clan password?
If it's not a clan, then why is it listed as a clan on the site? I like to think of clan as another word for community but not as fitting as community.

Re: TG clan password?
My point is that TG still competes just like clans compete. TG has fielded a team for the +SD GR Competition. It has signed up on that stats site. Just because there isn't a try-out it doesn't mean it can't share common characteristics with clans. In fact, this place used to require players to fill out an application. They weren't scrutinized but it was still a way to weed out players that wouldn't fit in. Clans do the same but seem to operate on a smaller scale.
Also, Team Element can be considered a clan. We prefer to use the term squad because it fits the types of games we play. Although, TE could be referred to as a mini-community. It's just different words for the same or similar ideas.
In any case, Pudd's question was not answered. He specifically mentioned clan because the site uses the word clan. It would be proper to use that word to avoid confusion to what he's talking about with bf2tracker.com. He asked a harmless question and we seemed to jump on him for a misnomer.

Re: TG clan password?
I look at it this way: my high school had a baseball team. A small percentage of my school wanted to compete against other schools at the sport of baseball. It's a small portion of a much larger community that wants to compete (much like the GR +SD competition). The New York Yankees, however, are a group formed specifically to compete against other teams (just like most competitive clans).

And it's too bad that Pudd sparked this little discussion, as his original request has been kinda overshadowed. I don't know what the password is.Become a supporting member!

Re: TG clan password?
Pudd, can you give more description on what you're trying to look at on bf2stats? I'll check it out and try to answer your question, but not sure what you're trying to do on that site.

Re: TG clan password?
yes exactly. i was just wondering if the whole 'clan' thingo was opperational. obviously not if apo is the only member. ty bomm for the simple answer i needed. i really didnt mean to spark a big hooharr about clans vs communities. i was just curious as to why the website has it listed the way it does. the pic below shows exactly what i mean.
