    because China doesn't have a UCB and its uber unbalanced if USMC takes the airfield since they get an extra jet. The Chinese assets are also bugged, if USMC takes the airfield and they are destroyed, they respawn as USMC if repaired, giving the USMC six artillery guns. 6 Arty guns on such a small map isn't exactly fun for the ground troops.

    I absolutley despise Kurba Dam 64 and 32 map sizes. But if you make it a 16 player size, it becomes a close intense battle. Those of you who don't know about it, its basically fighting over the top of the dam itself.

    Other than that, Im fine with the current rotation. Wake was fun

    I said this about Kubra earlier in the thread but think it's worth a second mention because I agree with this statement. The 16 player version puts all the action North to South across the dam, most of it across the top. It is very intense, and I think even 64 players in this small an environment would be fun.

    Wake too. When played as a ground war, the narrow path means you have a very well defined front line. Most maps bear definition of the "front" by CPs, but when there's only so many ways to walk and with enough players, you actually get the sense that you are fighting for every inch. It's a hellalotta fun.

    Everybody leaves whenever Songshua Stalemate comes up in the rotation. It really kills the server.

    why is that ya think?

    i really really like songhua... the battles around the CP's are always fun - lots of cover and infinite ways to attack/defend the CPs... opens the door for so many different tactics... there's so many hills, bushes and buildings to attack/defend from, the firefights tend to last a while (or at least until an APC rolls in... hmm this map would be cool to try with fewer APC's and more jeeps nudge nudge)..

    seems basically to be the opposite of oman where all those beach CP's are so open, there's really long sitelines, flat terrain, and clear skys full of aircraft.

    songhua's... well it's a real, "dirty" map...

    Favorite Maps run in order...

    Sharqi... Like the closeness of the flags and lack of Air. Great infantry battles. Every Flag is different.

    Mashtuur... Like the Closenes of the flags and lack of Air. Great Infantry Battles, interesting to play this as it's a chess match for the flags.

    Daqing... Fantastic Tank Fighting the way, many ways to win, balanced.

    Dalian... Not quite as balanced as Daqing, still interesting fights over the flags and good defensive battles.

    Dragon... Several ways to win, but very much enjoy both defending the Southern Flags from the US and the initial attacks from the US.

    FuShe... A couple of main routes to flags, but good height differentials, tons of armor and air is limited allowing for the beauty of Tank Battles and Defense.

    Karkand... Battles are linear and often the same from match to match. Good infantry battles, but too often played.

    Songua... Good Change of Pace Match where flanking is possible and allows for fun behind the front lines romps through enemy flags. Would be fun to play without artillery and with Scanner and UAV not able to be destroyed (Give them longer recharge times though)

    Cleansweep... Too many Flags, and too many tickets. Would be more fun if the US was forced to have a greater sense of urgency.

    Kubra... Flags are too spread out and there is no reason to take the majority of flags if you can take down MEC Main. Lower Ticket Count, make MEC UCB and make this a bleed map with no initial control of flags. Then it becomes strategic.

    Just my thoughts...

    Dislike:

    Clean Sweep: Its all about planes...period, if EA fixes AA properly in 1.2 this will be 10 times better, flag hopping with boats 24/7 is another thing I dont like about this map.
    Kubra Dam: Simply too big and far too much flaghopping, its all about choppers and armor.
    Songhua: Also too big and there are way to many APC's on this map.

    Like:

    Sharqi
    Oman
    Mashtuur
    Karkand
    Dalian is ok too
