I was a SL for a bit tonight. I was tired so I wasn't quite as vocal or instructive as I think I usually am. Aparently my depth perception was a bit off too... ;P
I thought my chute would be able to get out and save me before I hit. Some little rock protrusion had something to say about that though...yup, I jumped off a cliff. Gave pretty well the whole squad a nice lemming moment...good times
- Most of that map (Sharqi) made us (MEC) feel feel like unfortunate little lemmings anyway, so no big change. ;PCombat is very simple, there is a first place and a second place. Second place is laying face down in the mud...sometimes, so is first place.

One time in WarBirds I led a full squadron of 12 Junkers Ju 88's into a mountain. Even weirder, they laughed it off and let me lead the next raid.

That wasn't the FDB's though. One time in Aces High I was commanding (from the HQ bunker) a full squadron of FDB Ju 88's. I gave them their mission and they took off. A couple of gunners got bored and a TK dogfight ensued. All aircraft were lost en route to target.

Server 2, last night on Shiraqi Penninsula. Dont take off points for spelling, I just woke up. IIRC, server 2 is the one with Battlerecord on.

Last night on Songhua Stalemate I was driving a buggie down from the PLA main. When I drive a buggie I don't really pay attention to trivial things like roads and cliffs. Unfortuantely as SL someone spawned in my bugie just as I flew off the cliff. I was expecting it so I jumped out and chuted. He stayed in the buggie and crashed...oops
In hind sight it was funny as hell.
