lag and fame rate fix (maybe)
my lag and fame rate work fine after reading this tweak site for battlefield 2 deal with video and etc. setting.

HA!It was the first online game I'd ever played where you could walk, drive, fly, or swim across a giant map, working with other teammates or playing as a lone wolf - all the while being in the middle of a giant battlefield
World War 2 online is still the king when it comes to that. Better simulation all around. Not as arcady action packed and I finally ran out of steam playing it for a few years but nobody has come close to the Cornered Rats when it comes to a virtual battlefield yet.

Yes that helps but my problem is my ISP (Comcast). I work fine one minute and then it laps into lag....and it seem like it happens when someone is walking around the corner and I'm waiting to shoot them and auggggggg!!! the lag and they shoot me.

Anyway that site is very helpful. It has some cool hints about how to run the BF2 smoothly. It is updated frequently. I have been following that guy's advice since the demo.

The guide isn't really a tweak guide. It's more of an explanation of all the settings and how you can customize BF2 to your tastes. There really aren't any tweaks that improve performance other than lowering all your settings. There are the essential tweaks but that's not part of the BF2 guide.
