BST, or British Summer Time is indeed our version of Daylight Savings Time. It is GMT + 1.

The UK will be operating on BST until October 30th, when we revert back to GMT.

I just PM'd Oldbloke with pretty much that list of questions

The other question I asked was what map size will Karkand be? I know with AAS enabled it focuses the action, but from my zero-experience point of view a 64 player map for 8v8 still seems large.

Excellent to have you on board Xeil

Just had it confirmed that CO is disabled, and that we are playing on Karkand, map size 16. AAS mod enabled, but the flags are pretty linear. This makes it rather harsh on the USMC for that map in terms of ticket bleed, but I'm assuming we'll swap sides at the end of it to compare scores.

Yep, we are all still on. I will post up some more definite final details later, but it's pretty much sorted other than maybe having a couple more guys sign up to play.

As a side note on why we are playing with those parameters, I thought I'd give a bit more of an explanation. Primarily it is to see if it can work. We can always build up the player base and game size, and all the other rules, but this first scrim is just about getting on and having a nice fun game. The big difference in playing DMw as opposed to CAL style league games is that they have the same ethos as us in both conduct and teamplay. Thus we won't have to put up with some of the less TG style tactics that were such hard work against other clans.

The main point of this game, from both sides, is just to have a good time. We can build up on things from there.

Pretty much, yeah. I'll be posting a roster that will be edited into the first post of the thread.
