Talking On the Gulf Coast and can't wait to play again.

I'm from Mobile,Al without electricty and hot. I should have power sometime this weekend. I'm blessed in I didn't have a lot of damage, just trees down in yard. A lot of people here and on the coast lost houses due to rising water. People to the west of here really have it worst than us. Remember the Gulf Coast in your prayers and thanks for your workers that are here getting us back to normal again. If you think you had a bad day then just look at the news and be glad you are not in New Orleans.

Oh in case your wondering, I'm at work and we just got our internet back up.

Stay well kin. August is pretty much the worst time to lose your power (i.e. A/C) in the Southeast. We'll save a spot for you.

We finally came home today, and even though we had power yesterday, we didn't have it for about an hour. But, now we have it, and we finally got cable/internet back about 30 min ago. Not much damage to my house either, 2 trees down, 1 large. The main problem is that we have no water since the large tree broke the sewer main, and we have to wait for a guy with a stump grinder to come and get the stump then fix the pipe, but we have family who has water so it's fine.

I was talking to Shogun about this the other day. You see it and hear about it, and you think that you can understand how bad it might be in the worst places. But you never really can really.. can you? Not unless it happens to you.

It's always brought home more how lucky you can be when bad things affect people you know but not you.

Take care guys, wishing you and all your family and friends safe.

Good to hear, kin. I mentioned Ragnar earlier in another thread because he was the only one I knew in that area. I do hope all TGers among others in the affected area are safe and sound and doing okay.

My brother is in Mobile helping with the power restoration. Glad to hear you are safe and everything is OK. If you every need anything we can help up here in North Alabama, I am just a short trip up I-65
