Re: Battlefield 2 Modular Sig Design [56k Warning]
Both of you guys have TOTALLY cleaned up those pics! Nice work. They look splendid.

Whiskey - noticed something.
You're using the "Pilot" Squad Leader pic with the "Anti-vehicle" pic...
I'm fairly sure you can't fire an Anti-tank rocket from the cockpit.
Feel free to use whatever you like, really, but FYI, that Pilot SL pic was intended for players who tend to lead jet squads.

Re: Battlefield 2 Modular Sig Design [56k Warning]
If anyone is using my generator to actually host the image in their sig -- it will break this weekend as I update my little program.
I just went through Morg's page and saved all the images. Hopefully I can teach myself enough PHP that I can just drop images in a directory and the program will allow you to choose from what's there.

http://webmasterp.com/tg/index2.php - basic functionality is there.. I'll do some cleaning up later, but if someone could test it out and make sure it works, I'd sure appreciate it.

Re: Battlefield 2 Modular Sig Design [56k Warning]
Yea, not supposed to be able to use it as an img.. There's just too many images that I think it would be too confusing.
This is just to make life easier so you can just save one image on a picture host instead of messing around with 4 of them.
Does anyone use the sigs on a different website? I could allow a choice between a black or TG tan "background" that the 4 images sit on. Never did figure out the transparency issue.
edit: Gave the page a little formatting so it looks prettier. I know I'm missing some images, but I don't know which. Don't want anyone to feel left out, so I'll go through and figure out which ones. Does anyone want that old functionality back? So you could do like webmasterp.com/tg/4|canada|fighter2|knife.png? With so many choices it seems like it'd get clunky and hard to use..Last edited by perry; 10-22-2005 at 04:48 AM.

Re: Battlefield 2 Modular Sig Design [56k Warning]
http://webmasterp.com/tg/ - done for now, I think
I'll try to keep an eye on the thread for new images, but you might wanna PM me with em just in case (prefer PNG, but I can convert). Morg, I did use your archive to make sure I got all the images. I break them down in to folders for banner, flag, rank, and class, and then number them starting at 000. I put my archive at the bottom of the page.

Re: Battlefield 2 Modular Sig Design [56k Warning]
I updated The Generator so that the background color matches the new TG background color.
I had gotten transparency to work by creating GIF's.. looked fine in IE and all. Then I compared the GIF's to the original PNG's and they looked too ugly. So back to PNG's I went. Oh well. I'll figure this out one day. Musta taken me an hour and a half of fiddling around to come up with what amounted to about 10 lines of code. Then I went and looked at the GIFs I had created and they were ugly. So I went right back to what I had before. Heh.

Xink, can you tell me where the transparent borders are on your images? I made my own main banner, but when I put it in the generator everything is too close together. So I opened one of your main banner images and noticed a 1 pixel transparent border on the bottom. Where else do you have those sorts of borders?Last edited by perry; 11-17-2005 at 04:27 AM.
