Re: NEW TO TG BF2? Read this!
Hi TG Members!
My name is Medic^Thug, I've been playing on your server for a few weeks now, and is by FAR the best bf2 server i've ever played on. I've never played on such an organized, and competitive server before. It really has brought a whole new light on bf2 for me
Just a little bit about what I bring. As you can see by my name, I tend to play the medic class most of the time. I try to dedicate my game time to perfecting my medic skillz. I feel that keeping your squad alive is the most important thing in an assault. I tend to play SL most of the time, but I also like to be the SL's personal medic, keeping him alive at all costs.
Anyway, it's good to be here, hope to see you all on the battlefield.

Re: NEW TO TG BF2? Read this!
I remember you! You were that crazy sniper that kept trying to take out my entire squad at South on Wake Island by yourself. Good times.
Welcome to the family. Make yourself at home, but keep your feet off the couch, ok.

Ahh yes....
I remember sneaking in by swimming. The commander kept ordering me to sneak in and take it because I was the lone sniper. I remember a few times you guys chasing me down with your knifes

Re: NEW TO TG BF2? Read this!
Hi All!!,
Not sure if this is the right spot but here goes! I'm new to BF2 and looking for a good place to learn...I heard this is the best around for some decent tactical bf2 action so here I am!
I spent some time the past two nights on your server and it has been great fun!!! Much better than the majority of servers I've experienced. Anyway, I'm wondering what's the best way to get started here? Just jump right in??? I've read most of the stickies about the SOP and such.
I'm hoping I can join up with some of you guys online and start to learn how become a better player!
thanks,
Chappie

When I first played, I told the SL that I was a complete noobington smith regards TG - [i think it was EFlight] - the fella couldn't have been more helpful.
Jeez if the real military was this polite I might have joined to play with their r/l M1A2's hehe
Just go for it, nice people the TG'ers.

Re: NEW TO TG BF2? Read this!
Hi guys
I was pointed towards your site by someone posting in the BF2 forum at Planet. Anyway, I am thrilled to see a clan with your ideals and parameters for playing online, it's very like the clans I help to run on RTCW: ET, we have exactly the same ideas, to promote team play, ensure that fair games are played all the time, and to help new players on their way.
So, why am I here? Well, I'm fairly average to low skilled at ET and I'm sure I will be the same at BF2. I've ordered a new computer specifically customised for online gaming and for games like BF2, Q4 and F.E.A.R. etc. I'm that keen I have even bought BF2 and BF2 Special Forces before my new computer is scheduled to arrive at the end of the month.
My experience in playing games like ET, CoD2 MoH etc. online hasn't been good on the whole, due to cheats, elite shooters and general bad minded kids spoiling the fun for everyone, so when I read in the other BF2 forum that similar things were happening with BF2 online, I was having second thoughts about playing online. That is until I saw the post with the link to here.
So, in about a weeks time I hope to be playing online and learning from you guys. Most of the time on ET I play as a medic, and have become reasonably average at that, so maybe that would be a good place to start for me. First of all I will get used to the game in SP before attempting MP, but I'm really looking forward to joining you online and having some great team games.

Welcome to TG India51. Just a few pointers to help get you started in the right direction. First of all we are not a clan we are a community of like minded people striving for teamplay and tactics whenever possible. We have a variety of games at your disposal. Please read our rules and sop's so you have a clear understanding, which it looks like you are reading the forums waiting for your new computer. When you get on the server look for guys wearing the TG tag and let them know you are new and they will help you adjust to the TG style of play. You will be going against some subperb players so don't get frustrated I will guarantee you will only play on TG servers once you get comfortable. Again welcome to TG and have some fun.

Re: NEW TO TG BF2? Read this!
Hey guys,
Of course I am new here and will be directing my division members over this way. I think the idea of tactical gaming is what this game needs and what my clan strives for. So I look forward to seeing you guys on the battlefield and in advance GG's.

Please be sure to read our rules and SOP's (in my sig) before your whole clan jumps on. I'd hate to have to warn/kick/ban anyone for not adhering to our rules. Thanks and welcome to TG!

Re: The Official TG BF2 Quick Start Guide and FAQ
Hi,
I have been "lurking" here for about a week. it seems, waiting for the Update of the Tactical Mod to .8. I found your site through I guess it is called Tactical Wicki and it seemd to say before I could play with you guys I first had to Dowload Map Pack 2, then the Tactical Mod .7. I did both things BUT with the 1.2 Patch have NOT been able to do ZILCH.
Then this AM - I read your getting started INFO (again) but this I take notice that in your instructions for playing Tactical Gamer there is NOTHING mentioned about first installing the Tactical MOD..............so, apparently all this time I could have been playing some with you guys and checking out what sounds like just what I need - some GOOD organized Team Play.
So.............where the heck does tis Tactical MOD even come into play........I don't see it even mentioned on the Tactical Gamer Site (only the Wicki site)????
Confused????? C-Hawk
