RATS! I let my self ASSUME that all you guys were playing using that Tactical MOD ALL the time - I am used to playing the 21CW MOD and most recently the PRMM Mod (LOVE it) and my mouth was watering when I thought you guys were not playing BF2 Vanilla everyday.

Does Tactical Gamer plan to eventually use the The Tactical MOD ALL the time? Hope so, I do not like Vanilla BF2 that much after playing the Project Reality Mod and the 21CW Mod.

Yes, the current plan is to put server 2 on tacmod full time except for Wednesday nights when we play SF on it.

To join TGs Battlefield Server 1 you need:

BF2
AF
EF
Inishail Forest
Map Pack 2
Map Pack 3
Teamspeak ( not required but if you need help this is the quickest way to get it)

Those are REQUIRED for uninterrupted game play on the TG bf2 server 1. The Schedule will give you more details about the other severs.

I was banned tonight for team killing. Basically, there were 10-15 people in the server, and we won the map (virtually) by taking all of the flags and killing all of their players. For some reason, the map wasn't changing. After about 3 minutes, we all started TKing each other out of boredom. Is there any way I can be unbanned?

Ok, I see many of these post are pretty old. What do you need to load to play BF2 here currently?

This was the most recent post but the "Inishail Forest" doesn't download. I also loaded the Tac mod.

BF2 * got it
AF * got it
EF * got it
Inishail Forest * doesn't exsist, can't find source
Map Pack 2 * got it
Map Pack 3 * got it
Teamspeak ( not required but if you need help this is the quickest way to get it) * got it

Also, is there a password and if so, where do I find it or how do I get it?

Hey Sgtfury, welcome to TG. The mods that are currently being played at TG are POE2 (Point of Existence 2) and PRM (Project Reality Mod). So it's really up to what style you like to play. PRM is more for the reality player base and POE is a mod that is a little bit faster paced. Do a search for either one or both and I am sure you will find the downloads for them. Yes, I played PR and really like it, I was trying out your servers before I "support" it

Probably gonna do it anyway since its a pain to get into the server without doing it.
The TG "point of existance" server is always empty when I look at it, I end up playing that one on other servers that usually have a full crowd. Don't know why yours is always empty, its a good mod, especially if you like large scale tank fights. /shrug

Friendly suggestion....you may want to strike this quick start guide if you are not using the mod or at least edit the first post to point that fact out. I didn't sort through all the different post areas as this thread appeared to answer my questions.

If your from Germany your likely playing in timeframes that are not US primetime....so combine that with a long time without a mod update and you have a server that is only active in US evening primetime. Hopefully this will change though with the next release.

Also, when I went to join the server running Daqing oilfield it was in red and I think it said I need some sort of mod. whats with this?

You need Project Reality to join the server running Daqing. Current TG runs 2 Mod servers, one with POE, one with PR. Both are free and are far better then 'Nilla BF2.

G'day guys, I'm new to TG and although I've only played on your server (BF2 PoE2) a couple times I've thoroughly enjoyed it every time (Thats when PB doesn't kick me for packet loss) I'll get straight to the point, are there any In-House fly-boy squadrons? I've been a fly boy all my life and coming into PoE nothings changed. I can fight tenaciously on the ground but in the sky is where i believe i belong.

I'd also like to wish everyone here a merry Christmas as it's that time of the year again.
