With PS3 and XBOX360 mature by fall 2006, I hope EA doesn't force this title to be dual-release for PC & console. I don't want any watered down console junk.
Hopefully the PS3 is sufficiently difficult to code for that it will deter this kind of behavior. On the other hand, dual core PC's may well be in 30%+ of computers by then, making it easier to code for X360 & PC simultanously. We'll see.

After Vietnam they should have made a Korean war version,Battlefield Korea, or something
It has possibilities, for instance all the experimental planes could be included, The nuclear bombers/subs
But since they skipped right from vietnam to present day, it wouldn't make sense to go back in time

And they hold an iron grip over Dice. They encourage Dice to release half developed games just to meet profit margins. Thats why I'm boycotting the expansion. Those features should've been in the origianal game.

Do they? Did Dice admit they were pressured into releasing early to meet EA's profit margins? Or was Dice just trying to release the product according to the deadline they negotiated with EA? Did EA force Dice to release an unfinished product or was Dice just slacking and didn't finish one time and wanted to try and save face?
Diplomacy is the art of saying "good doggie" while looking for a bigger stick.
not to change the subject but battlefield korea would have sucked just as much as vietnam...since the Korean war used alot of the same equipment and technology as in WW2 and vietnam. The Terian may have been different but it still would have suckd....okay u can have your thread back

Judging from past news about EA, I'd assume that EA was giving them X amount of money for every phase they complete, the last phase being complete by Y date. IF they don't complete by Y date they don't get as much money.

Yes! It's their iron grip...that's why I release half-finished games!

Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...
