Dragon valley map bug?
I was flying around on Dragon Valley yesterday and I found a map bug: specifically, an invisible wall over the ocean to the north of the docks. It's pretty funny to be flying along and then just suddenly explode. Oh wait, not funny, annoying.
If you're flying something on Dragon Valley, beware of the area to the north of the docks.

There is another rather large bug...
the maps sucks.
Ta for the heads up, i've flown there a bit from bombing the docks and haven't found it, yet. Touch wood.

Re: Dragon valley map bug?
I would be really interested if someone could pin down the location of this mystery wall, especially relative to other objects.
Note that I have seen a "hole of death" on Clean Sweep before which has never shown up again since, so this might have been a freak occurrance. There was a night long ago where walking up on one of the hills in Clean Sweep was insta-killing everyone who tried it, and not giving any cause of death.

Well, it wasn't a once off thing. I've hit in the past, and last night I hit it 5 times. I think nox (who was flying the other F-35) hit it a couple of times too.

I've noticed a couple of these invisible walls since 1.03. One that I remember is behind the USMC airfield on Operation Clean Sweep. I was gunning in the bomber as we flew through that area over the mountains for a resupply pass and, boom, we just exploded at an altitude well above the mountains. My pilot was equally confused.

Yea, it's behind the silo things on the docks, and was there before the patch. You really notice it as USMC if the PLA has the docks and you are making bombing runs on the docks. You'll turn right to go behind the silos and BOOM. I've hit it in both jets and choppers.

Re: Dragon valley map bug?
Holee crap! Since I'm a noob to this pilot thing, I thought I was hitting some stupid radio tower or cable hanging out there. I've hit that "wall" 3 times in only 2 total hours of flying. (and that's all maps combined) Glad it's not me... But I still suck.

Re: Dragon valley map bug?
I think it's more like a large cube of floating death then a wall. It's a real problem if you're attacking the helicopters around the Docks but it's so much fun when you've got someone on your tail, being invisible makes it great for games of chicken

I have hit it a few times in the past with helicopter. It's right there where you described it.
