SM Night Tonight!
Don't forget about SM night tonight on the private server! We've had some lackluster nights the past few weeks, so everyone try to show up and let's get some good rounds!
So there's no whining later, no choppers and no jets, right? If AAS isn't installed (don't know the "condition" of the private server right now) and we're on 16 player maps, then just attack the initially neutral flags, right? When you join up, ask for any special rules we've come up with so there aren't any problems mid-game.

If he has time, icky is going to modify Sharqi, Karkand, Zatar, and Mashtuur so they don't have jets or choppers (similar to what was done a month or two ago for use with the AAS Mod). If it works out, hopefully there will be some better games tonight on the Private Server, starting around 8:30pm Eastern. (Thanks, icky!)

Sorry guys, won't happen this week. I promise to get it modded up for next week though.
We have other ways of dealing with people who go up in choppers though. Watch out for empty choppers falling from the sky.

yeh I think the drop-off in SM attendance has as much to do with MNF (Monday Night Football) as anything else.

I think if we're gonna have the AAS Mod on the Private Server, we definitely need to tweak the maps for better balance and play. This was started before the latest BF2 patch came out, but the patch nullified the changes. If icky has time, hopefully we can get some maps ready for play by next Monday night. I'll harass him some more.

I actually prefer fighting over the neutral flags on 16 player maps instead of the AAS mod on 32 player maps.

This should probably go in AAR, but oh well. I personally liked last night's SM w/o the worries of air in the picture. Was my first time doing SM night and I decided to tank whore it up a bit and found myself at the number 1 spot for my team consistently in all the matches and also had which seemed like a whole sqaud dedicated to taking me out on Oman. Was a fun time despite only having 15-25 people there.

Oh well, Strag, Mosley and I were there for like 45 minutes. Not even enough people for a chopper battle

ah, dang. i've yet to attend a single SM night, and i mean to!! i always forget...though i logged onto Teamspeak tonight...maybe we should give everybody a reminder on TS?? ah well, played two good rounds on server 1 (karkand and sharqi back-to-back), but i do regret not trying out the "exclusive" game...
i have to get ready for work now (2130 EST) so if any renewed interest happens on the private server tonight, i'm afraid i can't make it...|TG-1stMIP|Coridon
