Holiday Scrim Proposal - Calling All Admins and TG Junkies

Alright, first let me take a moment to commend Bommando for the fine string of scrimmages he's produced and helped us to participate in. (pause for round of applause and much cheering

)

Now, while he is taking a much deserved break, I beseech all *other* current admins....... Won't someone step up and help me put together a TG vs TG holiday scrim? It could be held Saturday, December 17th. It wouldn't have to follow in-house alignment, but we could sign up under the Santa Claus team or the Mr Scrooge team or something equally silly.
I even volunteer to do the "paperwork" part of organizing it if an admin would just offer to work with me to do the adminly parts. Your followers are making noise, as proven by the posts of interest below (c'mon guys, show 'em who's interested!!) Who will answer the call??

We seem to have several competing scrim ideas going on ATM. I think the one with the best prospects is the TG MOD scrim that is being proposed.

me and munch are actaully working on possibly 2 scrims 16vs16 or one big 32vs32..a couple twists to it and when to hold it....

the more the merrier... do BOTH

with rosters for the last few scrims reaching near 60 people, i don't think it'll be too hard to field a full TG team... even with the holiday chaos...

Might be a good way for some of us newer TG'ers to get a feel for how scrims work and how to prepare for one. I'd be down for it.

I for one would like to participate in a smaller one, it'd be fun...maybe even use SF

Suffice to say, there WILL be a scrim sometime over the holidays.

Hmm...this is probably the time to make an announcement of our intentions.
Trooper and I are currently focusing on the Tactical Mod Scrim

and will make an announcement/sign-up thread later tonight. Whether this will be 16v16 or 32v32 is to be decided.

After this, we will focus on a 32v32 player Vanilla internal scrim. We have a variety of plans to mix it up a little, so that it will not be simply 7thvRest.

If you are scheduling another scrim, I suggest that you make it sometime close to New Year's or in January to avoid possible conflicts.

Sounds like I might've jumped in when there are already things stirring up.. my bad! Sweet, as long as there is some action going on, I'm happy!
