Re: why join an inhouse squad?
As membership officer of the 7th, I can tell you that we're not currently recruiting. We got pretty big pretty early on, and are still at about 30 members. However don't hesitate to join a squad in-game called '7th' or don't hesitate to join my BEATNIK and LEARN TG squads. I see our role as being relatively more informal on regular TG days, and more structured for scrims.
I'd say read the squad thread, then if you're interested in a particular squad PM a member to contact the leader and learn some more about the squad.

Re: why join an inhouse squad?
This in-house squad thing does interest me after reading this thread. I really enjoy the teamwork aspect that TG has and this even defines it more, so it seems.
I might have to read up on this, and look at the squads available.
I work my real job as a Fire Fighter/ Paramedic so working together and teamwork isn't an option it's a way of life for me and my crew.
Man this website just gets better and better the more you look.
Awesome !!
Thanks,Bill

To join the 7th you have to dance and sing Thriller in perfect accord.
It twas hard but in the end my Southern voice upheld the nuances of Thriller.
