ANNOUNCEMENT: TG Special Forces Night -- Wednesday!!
Just want to get everyone's attention.
As many of you know, Wednesday will be our 'official' TG SF night. We can easily get that 48-player server full. So, just once a week, let's make an effort to be there on Wednesday's.
See you on the battlefield, soldier!

I have a feeling that a little event called the "Rose Bowl" might interfere with our inaugural SF night. . .but I'll try to swing by after the game.

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: TG Special Forces Night -- Wednesday!!
Wednesday can be "official" night but that doesn't mean we can't seed the server any other night of the week.
Server 1 is still pretty busy these days and there will always be TG people who do NOT have SF playing on it to keep a good presence there. Those of us that have SF and prefer it right now, let's focus on seeding the SF server.
I think we can ramp up activity on the SF server without negatively affecting Server 1. The last few weeks a LOT of people were travelling, etc. so now that people are getting back let's see what we can do.
I've seen from experience that if we can get 8-10 people on the SF server, non-TG people start connecting.

I tried posting this before in an effort to rally the troops. However noone replied to the thread and it quickly disappeared. Do I smell or something?

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: TG Special Forces Night -- Wednesday!!
I think it's worth another try now that the holidays are over. We know there are a decent number of TG members with SF and if only 8 or 10 a night made it I bet that would be enough to get the server going. I for one am burnt out on the stock BF2 maps so I think I'll play SF exclusively for a while.

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: TG Special Forces Night -- Wednesday!!
Standard BF2 can get reptitive, but I've come to loath Devil's Perch, and am really not too fond of Leviathin, and could do without Night Flight. I get such bad performance on those night maps that they really are not at all fun to play. Pretty disappointing, because I was looking forward to them
I do love the rest of the maps though, enough that I'm willing to put up with the night maps to play them.

I agree but, I think NIGHT FLIGHT is the better "NIGHT MAP" of the 3.
