Good Job man. Nope, didn't pay any attention to how I died and I feel I did ok. I died once that round, yep, masculinity is doing fine.

Re: Abra's League
Bah, I was horrible, you owned the skies. You evaded me when I was on your tail and shot me down when I was sloppy. I was so frustrated when I saw you taking out scores of my teammates and I wasn't doing anything to help them.

I think it would have been an even more interesting round if USMC had a player or two from the MEC side and was able to put up a stronger fight on the beaches, keeping the game close. This might be something we want to address for future games in the league. Because there's no auto-balance, what do we do when the teams become unbalanced?

No unlocks, Assault has flashbangs instead of smoke grenades in the mod.

After the server was reset some people missed the dozens of chat and admin messages telling everyone to move to the proper team, eventhough that wasn't the first time it had come up. Kids these days...

Re: Abra's League
Oh yeah, the silly auto-swap was on the server, screwing us up after each map restart. I'm gonna see what's up with that.

Re: Abra's League
I'm sorry I missed this - got stuck at work until 11pm last night dealing with server issues.

Re: Abra's League
Sounds like there was a good turn out. I'm glad it worked out. Tacmod seems to be the big draw for the the league.
The team balance stuff is an issue. I keep getting scattered reports of auto-balance being both on and off for the matches so it is confusing. Could it possibly be a bug in TacMod(or BF2 for that matter) SgtDuke?
Otherwise we normally spread the free agents between the teams when we do roll call. Then we watch the player list and if the teams go unbalanced we send someone to the other team. For this reason it is a tremendous help if Free Agents can stay on TS during the match. Otherwise we use the ingame admin messages coupled with the player"Switch teams on next death" function. So if you mysteriously switch teams in a match, look at the chat messages for an admin message telling you to switch teams and please STAY ON THAT TEAM. The biggest problem is that people switched in such a way, even after repeated admin messages, continue to switch back to their original team.
But yeah the next match is:

Re: Abra's League
Auto-balance was off. I believe the problem was that team auto-swap was on the server so when we restarted the map for the live round everyone was switched to the opposite team but not everyone switched back to their correct team. We definitely need to get auto-swap turned off for future games.

After finally experiencing "the great smokeout" at the Olive Hill Fortification near the end of Tuesday's scrim, I'm now certain I will need to witness one specific thing with the Tac Mod.
I want to play Songhua Stalemate with the mod...and be maneuvering through one of those bamboo forrests when suddenly encountering an enemy squad.
Everyone starts chucking smoke....no one can see the end of their own rifles...and people are crawling through the bamboo and listening for footsteps...nobody talking...
I mean, that map is so foggy to begin with...
Anyone else picture this in their heads and think it would be super swell? Just me...?

Re: Abra's League
I'm just doing some (late) record-keeping on the standings and the last match. But people have reported conflicting final scores from the last match. Does anyone have a definitive endgame screen shot? Or a screen shot showing the tickets later in the match than 37 minutes remaining(the latest screen I've recieved)? Short of that what is the general consensus as to the score of the last match? Maybe the TG admins can instruct me in extracting stats from the server.
From what I gather it was a sizable(~100-0) MEC win although I've heard the opposite.Xbox Live Gamertag: TG ABRA
