TG saved me from a life of misery...

    ...in BF2, that is.

I've only had the game 3 days and already I was despairing of finding a decent server to play on, where people actually communicate and give/receive orders, and work together, and...

Then I played on the TG server tonight and it was AWESOME.

Thanks for giving me a reason to play this kickass game. Hopefully you'll see me around a lot more...

    Glad you're enjoying yourself, Del!

Be sure you've read all of the TG Required Reading, atop the forum index, as well as any BF2-specific rules/announcements. If you have any questions, just ask.

Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Some people are lucky. They find us in the first coupleof days they had the game... Those kinds are the kinds that has not been corrupted by everything else...

Give him hug TG since you saved him. SAVED.

Fun, fun and more fun. But do not be selfish. Provide some fun and you will receive some fun.

Re: TG saved me from a life of misery...

I actually found out about TG from the Ars Technica forums (where I just lurk, never posting...). For some reason I had the idea that the Ars crowd might have knowledge of some better BF2 experiences that the usual demolition derby-style pub games out there. Turns out my idea was right.

As background, I've recently been playing a lot of America's Army, and have played the other BF games, along with every other damn FPS out there...so I'm no stranger to "tactical" style action. Plus, I'm in the Army Guard, so I can always write off hours of game playing as "tactical and/or teamwork building exercises."

Welcome Delobius...I went for three or four months of pubbie hell before finding TG this past September.

Check out our America's Army server too. We have a small but growing community of AA players who are dedicated to tactical play.

See you on the battlefield !!
