Ugh.. I heard Abra say, "Ok guys, we'll start roll call in about 5 minutes," on TeamSpeak, then my stinkin cable modem went down for the rest of the night! I was ready to send that thing flying across the room. That made for two nights in a row that Comcast decided that I don't need to be playing BF2

Actually, since Strag posted that his vote was miss counted, I guess the tally is 16-15 SF at the moment.

Anyone know a good(probbaly 16 player) AAS map besides Karkand?

These are the ones the author suggests on his site:

Daqing Oilfields, Fushe Pass, Gulf of Oman, Operation Clean Sweep, Strike at Karkand, Zatar Wetlands

No worries, I'll be correcting the flag capture radius.

I just wanted to weigh in on the CO thing..... In the tactical mod, the CO really just plays a role for coordination, which can easily be accomplished if all SLs are in a TS channel together. Then they really just need to pick one SL to make the final decision on things. I don't think the CO for AAS is a true stand alone role (maybe necessary for supply drops, but not worthy of competition). Maybe this will change when attendance begins to build, but for the moment, it just isn't necessary, in my humble opinion.

Also, I think that as attendance increases, and we play with closer to 64 players on the larger maps, the CO and air positions will become more vital and may be a worthy part of the league divisions.

I would agree.. I have yet to make a match, mostly becuase I never know when they are going to be and with my busy work schedule I don't have time to check the forums regularly enough to keep track. With all the other events going on now its hard to fit the league into a schedule of TGMod Sunday, SM night Monday, SF night Wed... etc.

I really have to agree with Sassy on this one. From my experience as CO in the Tac Mod scrim, most of the CO's duties are just spotting enemies from satellite view and organising airstrikes. Maybe we haven't really discovered the best way to CO in this mod, but until we do we may not see that slot filled.
