ANNOUNCEMENT: Server side mods tonight

It's a late announcement, but watch for some changes to your old familiar maps again tonight. Some are subtle and some are VERY obvious.

ARGH!!!! ARGH!!!! 3 nights in row now that Comcast has decided that I shouldn't be playing! Luckily the outtage was only for an hour tonight, but that was enough to ruin my desire to play. Got to play part of Wake, Karkand, Songhua, and the beginning of FuShe - was teamswitched right before the service went out.

The changes tonight aren't as happy as before.. more subtle stuff...

I have a theory about all these Comcast disconnects - all those who have been banned from our servers have formed an alliance, and are now working at your ISP. They resent your banhammer-ism and seek revenge!

Either that, or you've been kicked from the internet for excessive teamkilling or by an admin decision.

Then they went after my neighbor too, because I wasn't able to get a connection through their unsecured wireless connection... errr.. I knocked on their door and they said Comcast was giving them troubles too

I noticed that Dalian Plant had the attack helos replaced with tanks. Much, much, much, much better. A lot more armor fights.

The maps were up this evening and will see some more rotation tomorrow, I believe.

Thanks to perry, FBmantis, Tybalt, Strag, Duke, Beatnik, and others, for coming up with some great ideas to try out.

Sorry about the mess up with Karkand for those who played it. I accidentally removed all assets for the USMC CO when I removed their UCB. I will get that fixed up soon.

And no, there wasn't anything crazy this time around unless you count the Dalian AA guns which nobody noticed. We are trying to keep things interesting but still serious. (or at least MOST of the time we are

)
