Re: Euro Force Gameplay Video + Release date
who wants to bet that half of weapons, vehicles maps we see on the video wont be included

I could actualy see EA canceling the eurofighter sayinng it wasnt "finished"
of course thats what EA does, instead of spending more time to fix a certain feature they just scrap the project in order to meet the deadline"The Taoist sage has no ambitions, therefore he can never fail. He who never fails always succeeds. And he who always succeeds is all- powerful." -- Lao Tzu

Re: Euro Force Gameplay Video + Release date
yea those maps look pretty sick. Im definately gettin this if its only $10. More official maps are never a bad thing.
I heard that the new eurofighter plane is awesome. its got air to air, air to ground, and some sort of anti vehicle missiles, plus something else. It's stocked to the brim.

Re: Euro Force Gameplay Video + Release date
The new helo is a little curious. It seems like its primarily an air to air vehicle. Eh, who knows.

The Great Wall map looks nice but the rest looks like more of the same.

Re: Euro Force Gameplay Video + Release date
I disagree, because they did not do this with Battlefield 1942 and they did not do this with Road to Rome and they did not do this with Secret Weapons of World War 2 and they did not do this with Battlefield: Vietnam and they did not do this with Battlefield 2 and they did not do this with Battlefield 2: Special Forces.

Re: Euro Force Gameplay Video + Release date
Hmmmmm, let's see. EA owns the majority of DICE, I think they might have a say in what goes into the game. At least that is how a business is supposed to run, the owners telling the employees what to do and all. And I do remember a couple of things that were supposed to appear in this patch that got cut. Picking up C4, claymores, and mines got axed. And that IFF bug is still around.

I'm sure EA told DICE "Make sure you don't fix the IFF bug"

Re: Euro Force Gameplay Video + Release date
Really there's not much I can say. They've said before that they axed thos features because of bugs/they weren't working correctly. They are not going to remove the Eurofighter because of a bug, okay? It's silly to attribute malignant properties to a company beause you feel they have wronged you in some esoteric way. They don't hate you. They make games.

Re: Euro Force Gameplay Video + Release date
I'd rephrase the "they make games" and say "they make money". That is EAs primary concern. Money - Not games. They pay developers for the games.

Re: Euro Force Gameplay Video + Release date
I dont hate EA, Im just dissapointed in them, My expectations have lowered ALOT since BF42, yet I still play cause this is such an awsome game series
My comment was meant to be sarcastic, but my point is still valid, If there was a bug the claymore/c4 pickup, than they needed to stop and try and fix it, not scrap it to meet a deadline, how many things I wonder were scraped for the first build because they werent finished and or bugged(hmm special forces?) my point is finish the game in its entirity before even announing a release date......
I know that EA doesnt make the game, but they have alot of infuunce at what gets put int the game, I usually say EA/DICE when refering to the developers, but I find it to be rather repetitive and just mentioning EA gets my point across. To me dice has become just like EA-money hungry, I dont see the quality in there work as I did with BF42"The Taoist sage has no ambitions, therefore he can never fail. He who never fails always succeeds. And he who always succeeds is all- powerful." -- Lao Tzu
