    Smile Scrim against TAW???

    Good day Gents...

    Malimn checking in and wondering if you would be available for another scrim??? We have purchased a new server in which we can support well over the 64 player limits and we would like to challenge Tactical Gamer once again.

    PM BOMMANDO and talk it over with him ...

    Was it with you ( TAW ) that we were getting all those LAG issues ?

    I'm sure that SOMETHING can be arranged..

    Yes this was us but we have purchased a new server which can handle a LOT more than just a 23x32 event... another problem we had was there wsa a LOT of other people connected to the server who should not been which has been fixed as well.

    Hi Malimn,

    If you haven't heard back from one of the ADMIN already, it may be due to the "SETTING-UP" of a scrim against MA ( Mature A$$kickers ) and they may have been very busy on that.

    I am sure something will be worked out ..... and Glad to hear about your new server !!

    Malimn, did you speak with one of our BF2 officers/admins? I've seen nothing official about this so I would imagine a scrimmage in 2 days is going to be too short a notice to make the necessary arrangments for us.

    He's saying that they have a beefy server, not that they actually have a server that allows 128 people or something. See, we played them in the fall, but both times were such lagfests that the matches were rather lackluster. We tried servers from both communities and they both had problems. Seems like TAW has some new iron they wanna test out.

    Malimn, I can say with about 99% certainty that we've not prepared one bit for a match on Wednesday night. Although I'm not positive, I feel pretty safe in saying that we won't be ready for a match then and your guys should stand down. Bommando is our scrimmage dude, so your best bet is to keep trying to contact him. Getting our huge group organized takes quite a bit of work and Bommando has been busy with real life stuff (working on his suntan, going to bars, you know, the important stuff ), so bare with us..

    So, any word from the B-man himself (not me, Bommando) yet?

    Sounds pretty fun, and I would like to do take part in it. But, most def., some preparation and advertisement has to have time to take place.

    Does this mean you have modded the BF2 server to reecive more than 64 players? If so, how many players were you able to pack in and play with no lag?
    I am very intrigued by this and would certainly like to see a battle with around 80 players on a map...
