    I challenge everyone here

    Over the next week I want us to try something, and I challenge everyone here to follow this. The challenge is to list in a reply here the roles you regularly play in BF2, and then from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th this coming week not play that role at all. No more point whoring in your favourite kit; let some-one else have the jets; make someone else step up to a position that the community normally relies on you for.


    I will not play:
    Spec Ops
    AT
    Medic
    Engineer
    Drive a tank
    Squad Leader


    I will try an play more:
    Commander
    Jets (not at the same time of course)
    Support


    Let's see who can step up and try something they are not used to, or who has to rely on certain old tricks in order to win.

    Cool idea, here's my list:

    I will not play:
    Spec Ops
    Squad Member
    Burst fire

    I will try and play more:
    Squad Leader
    Support
    Engineer
    Assult
    Single shot

    I don't play many kits usually, I sometimes have a few days where I suddenly am fixed on one kit, but I always end up back on Spec Ops...

    I think the biggest change for me would be Air. So I'm gonna drop the SAW and SL duties and go for the Attack Chopper. This is a great idea, and I think we'll all feel the difference.

    I will give an effort to play:
    Medic - Bommando, prepare to stay dead a lot
    Assault
    Spec ops
    Jets and choppers - Both sides better watch out for falling aircraft
    SL - Be prepared for I may lead you to your doom

    See, that's what keeps my attention in BF2 - the roles I can play. I've tried them all and feel comfortable in any kit. The only vehicle I'm not really comfortable in is the attack chopper - just haven't spent much time practicing the TV missle or flying (I don't crash, just don't have many tricks up my sleeve). Haven't done much SLing and only CO'd about 2 rounds.. Sorry to the team I command, in advance

    Let's take a guess at what RoboCop would try not to play as much!

    As for me:

    Try to Play Less of
    Engineer
    Medic
    Support
    AT

    Try to Play More of
    Assault
    Special Ops
    Flying Transport (Prepare for Air sickness!)

    I'd like to ask that more people put "medic" as kits they'd like to play more of, 'cause goodness knows we're gonna need them now

    Engineer, Used it a few times, want to master the shotgun.

    Spec Ops, I just wan to blow stuff up mainly.

    Assualt, Gotta learn the damn GL, I'm terrible at it.

    Single shot mode, I know I know, I should of been using it 90% of the time, but its actually hard to change.

    Armor/Attack Choppers, I'm terrible with these as well, I'd like to use them more often, I can barely survive in a tank more than 5min.

    I had a dream that Robocop said that he wasn't going to pwn me with his shotgun for a week...now I know why...

    I'll put more effort in playing
    sniper (clawhammer- I'm hunting you specifically..lol)
    support

    and maybe give jets a shot...if there's any spots available and people on the jets squad are courteous and patient with my green piloting skills.
