Quick! Jump in!
One of the commo rose commands reads "Quick! Jump in!". Its not, "Slow down, keep shooting at something 500 yards away and then jump in once your squad leader has been blown up by a J10." That would have been too long for DICE to integrate. If you hear your SL tell people to get in or is honking his horn like hes gone mad, do him a favor and get in the car. When i SL i absolutly hate sitting there waiting for people to decide to get in the car. It almost always leads to getting bombed or artied, and just slows down the attack of the squad considerably.

Re: Quick! Jump in!
lol yeah this happens all too often,
after 2 seconds of stopping and waiting I get nervous of ATs,
and how come when I'm SL and stopped, an AT always makes the vehicle explode immediatly !
I find saying these things helps move people along,
"I'm moving out for the next flag, I've got 2 places left, get in"
"coming to pick you up -persons name-"

Re: Quick! Jump in!
I once had someone trying to be funny with a car once, constantly just honking while I was sniping (he wasnt in my squad), anyways, they had one spot left so I figured they wanted me to get in and I did, but he did move the car an inch, so I left it and went back to sniping.

I always jump in the car if a squad member or the SL honks/gets in, unless a chopper is hanging right above us (we'd get blown up easily).

Re: Quick! Jump in!
Amen. Unless the target they are shooting at is an ATer, jump in so we can go. Too many times people engage targets that are not the SL's objective at the time. If the order is given to pull out or disengage, do so immediately, not five minutes later.

Re: Quick! Jump in!
Hmm... I suppose I am more than a bit guilty of this. The thing is, when the SL calls for people to jump into the buggy, I'm hoping that someone more competant than myself jumps in it first so something can actually get accomplished. Plus, sometimes I see people closer to the buggy than myself, so I assume they will get in.
Lesson learned: Next time Santa calls for a buggy blitz, I will make sure to throw myself into the car.

I played in a PlanetSide community in which the SL would say, "The transport is taking off in [x amount of seconds]." If you weren't there, you were left behind. Maybe we should try that?

Re: Quick! Jump in!
Yes please! This will also make the CO happy, as there are numerous times that he'll ask a squad to QUICKLY take an open flag or defend a position. Oftentimes, that order takes so long to execute that it's too late by the time it happens.

Yeah, that gets really annoying esp. when you have a small window of time where a flag is completely open.
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving.

I just drive on if someone doesn't get in. You can't wait.
I had my SL yelling at me recently for this, but I really had no choice, since I was in the process of guiding a rocket toward an incoming tank. Sometimes you just can't go.Peace through fear... since 1947!

Here! Here! Yes, this is one of my pet peeves! Happens way to often. When you hear the horn or "Get In" - Get In!

I love though when you try to jump in a moving vehicle only to mis-time it and get squished.
err... maybe that's just me though.

Hold down "E", rather than just pressing it.
