We have challenged Full Contact War to a scrim.

We will be following a delayed sign up process - this thread will be opened on Tuesday, August 8th, at about 9 PM EDT.

* "It's not fair! I keep getting pushed out by Supporting Members!" Become one.
* "Can you change the date?" No, the date is confirmed.

Date: Saturday August 26th, 2006. 3:00 PM EDT This time and date was picked to allow FCW to fill up their full 32 slots by including their European admins.

Use timeanddate.com to work out your offset.

Players will be required for TeamSpeak roll call 1 hour before the scrim.
Anyone who is not present 30 mins before the scheduled start time will be moved to the bottom of the signup order.

How to sign up:

Please only post if you can participate and are sure you will be able to make it on time for roll call. No maybes, no whining about how you would like it to be held on another day and no whining about time zone differences.

Along with your post, please state your kit specialties and other skills with vehicles or roles. COs and SLs in particular should express their interest early. You should also state if you belong to a TG division, so we can roster you with your teammates.

The following in-house divisions will have a reserved 6-man squad available for the scrim:

* 12th
* 33rd

Everyone else will need to sign up independently, so in-house divisions should encourage their members to make the sign up time.

* Players will be signed up on a first-come first-served basis.
* Supporting Members get precendence in the order they sign up, then Non-Supporting Members afterwards. Your SM status at the time of signup determines which list you will be on. Once you post, you cannot become a SM later to work your way up the list.
* You can pull out, but if you reconfirm, you will find yourself at the bottom of the roster.
* You may not hand over your spot to another specific player. Your spot will be given to the next available player.


Anybody who doesn't make it on the active roster will be a reserve. I urge reserves to still turn up for TeamSpeak roll call, since there are always no-shows.

The server will be set to 64 Players for the scrim.

Tactics:

Rosters will be written by the CO of each match and Tactics will be posted in the 7th Blog. Every attempt will be made to keep divisions together and place people where their skills lie.

The following rules have been graciously agreed to by FCW:

1. No UCB camping or UCB vehicle stealing.
2. No Jet Insertions.
3. No bunny hopping.
4. No squad switching to gain strategic position. (Yes I know 3 and 4 are far less likely after 1.3)
5. No cartillery on vehicles/people
6. No blatant suicide tactics


Everything else is fair game for FCW, so no bitching please.
