Hey ABRA here
How's things? How's the BF2 TG community?
As some of you may remember I was knee deep in BF2 League management when I mysteriously disappeared to return to the profession as a sea-farer. Well I'm returning for a bit between boats and thought of you guys.
I'll be back online late August and was hoping to get back in the saddle with you guys. So is BF2 still the hot thing at TG or has everyone moved on? You guys all TacMod fanatics or still playing vanilla? Did SF ever catch on? Anyone take up the mantle of the league or scrimmages? Any radically different gameplay strategies or tactics predominating our servers that willspin my head around?
I remember when I left had just started coping with Blackhawk death ships full of engies and insanely overwelming air support dominating the land game when a couple of aces took to a bomber unopposed. CO assassinations and Spec Op inflitrations into the NCP were the hotbutton debates. What a great time I remember and how hard it has been to be marooned on a ship with only a laptop and GTA:SA to keep my company.
Anyway I hope to see you on the battlefield on or about the 22nd of August.Xbox Live Gamertag: TG ABRA

Hey, ABRA! How's life at sea??
BF2 still probably draws the biggest crowd at TG but it's well past its prime.
You haven't played in a while if you worried about dominant blackhawks...those things have been nerfed for ages!
SF never caught on and was declared legally dead at TG in February, I'd say.
There's a link to the BF2 schedule in my sig, but the gist is:
Sunday: TacMod
Monday: Vanilla + Euro Force + Armored Fury expansions
Tuesday: " " " " " "
Wednesday: " " " " " "
Thursday: TacMod
Friday: Vanilla only (no expansions; this is temporary as far as I can tell)
Saturday: Vanilla + Euro Force + Armored Fury expansions
I think that's right, and even though I downloaded those expansions in June I've yet to play anything but one map, Great Wall, heh. What can I say, I pretty much only play Thursdays and Sundays! Hope to see you soon, kidd-o!|TG-1stMIP|Coridon

Re: Hey ABRA here
Sea life is awesome.
"past its prime" sounds ominous. Is attendance low or something? I'll see if I can get those expansions hooked up at the LAN center I go to when I'm on land. I'm giddy with excitement.Xbox Live Gamertag: TG ABRA

Re: Hey ABRA here
Its a combination of game age and summer schedules that have the server not even close to maxing out during vanilla/booster primetime these days. Attendance for the two TacMod nights IS very good and continues to be a strong point. Scrims are also very well attended.

Forgot to add.. Welcome Back!!
If you think your going to be playing regularly (at least a few hours a week) let Bommando know. I think we had an inactive purge on the 7th roster since you last played.|TG-12th| SHINER

That is a pretty awesome vid. What are the chances that you roll something like that? You already had a nice lean going, do you ever get wind gusts that push it "way" over?
